I noticed that the F/A-18, the F-5, and the F-14 jets are not on sale.  I thought these jets would be on sale.

Two of them are on sale as part of a bundle. Right there in the Newsletter, Mike - "The DCS: F-14 Tomcat is now available as part of the Maverick Legacy Bundle. That's not what Mike has an issue with.

As part of a bundle the sale is completely useless to anyone that has one or the other already.

I was seriously considering buying the Tomcat, but i already own the Hornet, and that will be the case for hundreds of others.

Doesn't seem well thought out. Anything on sale as a bundle should be on sale individually as well or else ED are simply going to miss sales from existing customers.

At least on steam, even if you own 1 of the two bundle items, you still get the sale price on the one you don’t have.  The f14 and 18 bundle is $109 (35% off) . I already own the f18 but there’s a separate option to buy the f14”bundle” without the f18 for $51.99, still 35% off. Still the same deal. Same with the super carrier bundle.. I can’t say if its the same on standalone or not, but on steam you still get 35% off the items you don’t own already.

Too bad neither the bundles nor the sale are on Steam. Not sure how it is with the standalone, but it seems to be not quite as fancy as that.

Just a week ago there was a sale with 25% off on the Tomcat so you are a bit late to the party. If you don't feel like paying full price just wait for another sale.

They are, or were on sale on steam for the 35%b off. Believe it ends today may 29, you had to click on either the f14 or f18 and it would show the bundles and sale prices. It didn’t show them directly on the store page.
