I've just completed M14 but I just got a 'mission failed' advice right before taking deck on the carrier.

I did not understand why, given that Flip called 'HOME RUN' right before the tanking going back to mother.

Looking into the TacView later, I'm pretty sure I got the message right in the moment when clementine22 just crashes in the water (it does not reach USS Veracruz/LHA Samson).

Let me know guys if you want me to send you the TacView file for review and if this had happened before.

Thanks, this looks like a pretty rare thing but probably is an omission on my end - I need to make sure that Clementine dropping during RTB for whatever reason won't make the mision to fail. Feel free to just advance the campaign and mark M14 as finished, I will add a safeguard to M14.

The campaign is awesome, with a lot of details and nice touches. Im posting this just in case it is of any help.

 

Still investigating the issue, looks like it may be something with the SuperCarrier comms perhaps? @[ED]Obi what do you think?

Mission was quite long (2:20 hs), maybe I overstepped a bit.

I'll skip it until further news.

I fly a ka-50 so i'm not in danger... I AM the danger! :joystick:

wanted to post regarding Mission 6, where the tomcats and Cajun never pushed from wpt1, but I guess this is related to the above. That sucks.

Same thing for Mission 8, everybody stays on the RDV pt. Hope for a quick patch!

Hi Baltic Dragon

After the hotfix on 3rd Nov, 2.8.0.32235.1 OB, I can't open radio menu in mission 3 when the game orders me to check in with Thor, and the mission can't go on from orbit on WP1.

I tried the comm button on my Hotas, also the "/" key on the keyboard but nothing happened. So the only thing I can do is to check setting, check radio freq, check mission doc but I am sure everything is alright.

Is this a bug caused by the orbit stop bug?

I flew it some days ago...there were no crashes.

However I did miss some radio communications...didn't seem to have done anything wrong but some triggers...didn't trigger.

Anyway I was able to score 100 on the mission

But about the trigger the issue was the missing push of the whole group, do you know if this happens again? This makes the missions almost unplayable...

Thanks for putting together a great campaign.  I am on Mission 14 and for some reason Flip is telling Olive to detach once we get near Carpet.  I have no idea why.  I get the position (230 for 10 from carpet) and fly there.  As we get there Flip Says "Olive, Detach", and I never see her again.  I kill 2 ZSU's in the town with Maverick and CBU, but get hit trying to get other one with rockets (got ZSU tho).  Need Olive to help.  I have flown this one about 6 times.  I figure I must be doing something wrong since I am the only one I have heard of having this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably just a small typo, but in the M14 brief Flip states that we refuel with Bucket 75 then move onto Madonna, but Olive goes to Bucket 74 and the radio menu only displays Bucket 74 as a refueling option even though I was readied up behind Bucket 75 some 30 miles away (probably since both have the same freq?). Think this is just a one character edit in the mission brief if no one else mentioned it yet.

hey hello!
I noticed a weird bug or some problem on my end.
yesterday I was in the last stages/rtb of mission 14  when it happened -> had to quit and skip 
...and now after airborne on mission 15 is the same:
every time I switch one of the radios to tactical it keeps "stuck" in transmitting. (with the arrow down symbol). If I change channel, no problem. As soon I put on tactical freq it keeps on transmitting.
now I have a virpil setup and an extra keypad so it might be some bind out of order. but its strange that only manifests on tactical, right? is there any bind that ir related? It might be helpfull to troubleshoot.

I saw the same when I flew the mission. But didn't the briefing, or a dialog, mention that there was an issue with one of the radios? I might be wrong, but I think that could be "on purpose". 😉

yeap I read that too, and that intrigued me!
but it says comm 2, which it would be fine, but in this case is just happens every time the channel/frequency (tactical) is on, it doesn't matter if its in radio 1 or 2.

if its part of the plot its weird af. 😆
so, I kinda need confirmation that this is the thing.
I'm done starting up. setting coords lol

@baltic_dragon can you confirm that its part of the plot?

EDIT: for anyone reading and having the same or similar problems, without the lack of clear replies, I'll be waiting for some youtuber to post their mission to see.😎
EDIT 2: did it anyway and somehow it worked.

Hi guys,

I'm on mission 15 and I've noticed that my wingman doesn't interrupt the orbit and then go towards the assigned TGT. Even communications suddenly stop and I have no more news of the other groups.

I pushed anyway and destroyed the assigned targets but the mission is not completed.

Can we say that the last mission is buggy? It lasts about 2 hours and I would like to avoid repeating it if I can't finish it.

Hi,

In mission 5, I intercepted Marauder but for some reason when Blade did his move we were behind the fighter so that didn't register and after 10 minutes of escorting Marauder without comms the mission failed.

In mission 6, chocks or no chocks my left wheel sustains damage and I can't progress. I guess I can drive to an emptier part of the carrier or take an immediate catshot and enter the coordinates in the air?

Mission 6 - it is a bug with AI F-14s, reported ages ago. Maybe try to move a little bit forward in the beginning of the mission. To fix it I would have to rebuild the whole departure sequence, which means - with so many VOs - around 6-8h of work to find a workaround for a core game bug which I hope will be finally fixed. I'll check if there is any update on that.

Hello.

MISSION 8

After recent update 2.8.5.40170, Red (Pistol 36) does not join up after launch anymore.  He hangs around the boat at 1000'.

Normally not a big deal, but Red is a main part of this mission so the mission breaks at target area.  

Tried 3x, but lost patience.

(I just jotted this hardware info down so younger smarter people can help me troubleshoot possible flaws)
