105mm Light gun cargo issue when lifted by the Mi-8

I saw recently a new object appeared on the crates category for sling loading, namely and artillery gun.

Happily I made a quick test mission for it but things weren't working as expected. In the moment the cable was attached to the new artillery gun, this one just exploded, as well as my helicopter. All other crates worked normally.

Is anyone else experiencing the same with this new object?

This is not the issue here. Currently no DCS helicopter can carry this unit, because it falls through the ground as soon as it is "linked" to the aircraft.

The issue is being investigated.

Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever.

The L118 no longer falls through the floor, but dances around wildly when connected. See the track file in the attachment.

Where is the sense here to leave such a faulty part in the DCS environment for almost 8 months? Even if it is from Razbam, where is your quality standard for DCS here and your standard against third party vendors?

If it can't be fixed in the foreseeable future, then please remove it temporarily.

Sorry for the harsh words. I know very well that an open beta is a test environment and bugs can happen, but this example just doesn't make sense to me.

I have to agree with you there. I already had gray hair because I thought I was doing something wrong in the last Mission. Okay, I had some before, but now there are more.

8 months is really a long time. Anyway, for something like this. Now it is also 10 months.

Thanks for your feedback and your track. I updated the internal report.

Thank you Flappie for your tireless efforts.

Already reported months and months ago but not yet fixed. 🙄
Seems to be not a priority for ED.
The CH-47 is coming and whitout any real improvements linked to logistical capabilities (L118 included) it will be difficult to take full advantage of this wonderful machine.
So we can just hope that this problem will FINALLY be rectified in the near future.
