Haha, I was all over that when I saw the pictures. But unfortunately I can't think of a way to add flares to cruise missiles in DCS.

The closest we have in DCS the decoy schemes which will allow for chaff to be released.

Nope, the chaff feature is hard coded in the scheme.

Just for information, something seems to be wrong with the CH Military Assets Pack of Russia and Iran. When I copy one of them to my Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech folder DCS won't start. The other assets packs work fine. Maybe it's caused by one of my other mods but it is hard to figure it out.

                          FYI, yep it'll be a previous old asset from Currenthill that's causing the problem, there are about 3 pages of what to do, if you go back on this thread about 3 or 4 pages.

Currenthill has been answering this for some time in the past week or so.

Currenthill has been answering this for some time in the past week or so. 

Flyingscotsman is absolutely correct! I was dealing with the same issue. The issue was resolved once I deleted all the old Mods. Best of luck, and enjoy!

I've also just added the brake parachute for the Tu-160M2. But don't fool yourselves, don't try to land this behemoth on a short runway unless you have very little fuel left.

When I want to save disk space by deleting not needed units, I go to /asset mod folder/textures and delete certain texture pack.

These are the largest files and their deleting isn't affecting game stability

@currenthill I absolutely love your asset packs and have been using most of them in my war games. I wanted to update my own GR style Black Sea Fleet battle with your latest assets. Problem is, it appears that a download limit has been reached for the Russian pack. Are you able to fix this so that I can use your latest assets? Thanks!

If you have tried all three links, we just have to wait until the next day when the limits resets.

@currenthill Thank you, I will give it a few more days and see if it works again. I thought maybe there some other issue as this is day 2 or 3 of seeing the same "Download quota exceeded for this file..." message.

Dimitriov's French Pack was one of DCS's first major unit package mods, but it appears to have been discontinued for over 2 years, no update since...

If Dimitriov has stopped maintenance of his French pack, is there a way that you can speak with him to see if you can take back the elements? It would be a shame if the absolutly fabulous French pack fell into obsolescence, and there are many units that we would dream of seeing added to it, like the Caesar, the Mamba, the French infantry, etc...
