Honey
Subject. Happened in MP, had no warning from launches of S-300 missiles from ships, and, no active track warning too. Missiles were visible in the F10 map, and also tracking and killing quite well. Confirmed in F-18, AV-8, Su-27. By two separate players (Plisk and myself). No track right now, if anyone can test and upload, please do.
Napillo
Same in Mig29 and JF-17, it was a hawk. Twice I got no warning, once I got a warning, but it was 1 second from impact, I watched them launch. hawk can't launch without a lock.
_SteelFalcon_
Had the same happening in the f-16 with an SA5. No launch warning at all in MP. when testing in SP, the warning did appear tho. Edited March 11, 2023 by _SteelFalcon_
spazz212
Can Confirm it had an issue with the F14 RWR not noticing them too, seems that cycling through the filter types does make the Radars show up temporarily but they go away shortly after. Sh4rk
I was in the F-18 and got the radar tracking beep and the locking tune from a SA-15, but not the launch warning. Lock tune was gone away shortly before I was blown out.
falcon_120
Same here, no missile warning launches from SA2, hawks, SA10s for hornets or F16, but I think it affects for planes and SAMSEnviado desde mi ELE-L29 mediante Tapatalk
KungFu
How did something like this make it through QA? Seriously? The rest of the update is beautiful and I applaud...but man...really? It does seem to work on the Harrier as far as I can tell EDIT: Nope, it seems to be like 20% works, maybe red herring as when it does seem to work it's with close SAMS and the launch warning worked but was way to short Edited March 12, 2023 by KungFu 1 Win 11 Professional, I7-12700K, 32GB DDR5, 3090, 2x 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe , 2x VKB Gunfighter mk III, MCG Ultimate, SCG, Orion 2 Throttle, Thrustmaster TPR pedals, Pimax Crystal

codyj007
I have heard people having this issue throughout all aircraft after the recent patch. In my case, I was in a harrier, and for a brief moment I got a lock tone from a hawk. Then I visually saw a missile launch and the tone went away and my RWR was silent as I was visually watching this missile tracking my aircraft. People have said they have had this issue with almost all of the current sam systems and aircraft with rwr. This bug is very critical and needs a fix ASAP. Attached below is my log and tacview replay. I know it isn't the TRK file but it was too big so I just put the acmi in. My name in the track file is Omar 1-1 | CaptainCrash in AV-8B. EDIT: Timestamp 6:22:56 I was fired on by 2 hawk missiles and I didn't even know. Timestamp 6:36:01-6:37 I was fired at again with no lock/launch indication and ultimately had no time to react and died. *Merged my post with this one since this one was started first. dcs.log Tacview-20230311-143015-DCS-Client-Persian Gulf At War 1.0.0_morning.zip.acmi

granspeed
I think this is not an RWR problem. Flew an A/G Mission on Multiplayer server. In a F16 HTS/HAD or Su-25T Fantasmagoria, you can clearly see SAM radar signature turn on/off intermittently. So the problem is the SAM and not the RWR. This was happening with whole host of radar SAM's SA-5/8/10/11, Patriot, HAWK, Roland, Rapiers. There were no patterns on how long a SAM radar signature will stay on/off. Also what was confusing was there was 1 F-16 in our group that would receive SAM radar signature perfectly. Sorry, track file too big to send. Will try to replicate it and post in shorter mission. wormdoktor
Same issue. Flying F-18, been hit multiple times since Friday by SAMs, Fox-1 and Fox-3 with no launch warning. Sometimes there's a lock tone, sometimes not. Couple of times had a brief launch tone from an F-14 that quickly went quiet. Running MT on hoggit servers. Example attached; 3x SA6 launched at me, one hit, no warning. See from 37:46, name PLATYPUS | wormdoktor.
