And great job for the F1, I love it.

This is the biggest thing holding me back from using the F1 as my daily driver.  I really hope it's added soon.

More important to fix "self-destruction" bug when you dropping GBU with fuselage hardpoint.

Concerning the radar overhaul…I just saw that APS mode for the radar is not mentioned in the to-do list. Is that just an oversight? APS mode can be quite useful when used correctly so I hope it is also still planned?

When the F1 came out, i felt that the external model and textures weren't as good as other recently released DCS modules (i admit, that this is a high bar to clear). Since i haven't yet bought the module, this was mainly based on screenshots/youtube-videos and some users in the forums voicing similar concerns.

Has there been additional art-passes in the meantime? Are there any planned for the future?

When looking at screenshots now, i still feel the textures aren't perfect. They look a bit plasticky soemtimes and maybe a little bit too clean.
Is it just me, or do you feel the same? Could the shaders need some tuning?

Is the external art deemed to be complete at this point?

As far as I know they are planning on updating the external model/textures. But I’d imagine they are going to get the BE and M out the door first. 

Also, Timeline for RWR PRF/tone improvements (and phimat 😉)? @fausete

Flight model is getting there still some WIP on the high AOA part, the 3D was meant to be updated in October update, but since September update got delayed I don't know for sure if it will come this month.

Also we don't really know what will be updated on the 3D model...

Have skipped to some more videos and screenshots and also noticed that some weapons/pods could profit both from better textures/shaders and higher detail geometry. On the actual aircraft the geometry looks ok (to my eye... and only judging from videos/screenshots), but textures/shaders are underwhelming.

As someone who has access to a Mirage F1CT IRL, the 3D model has a lot of missings stuff and a lot of errors, I know that they are working on it tho

So RWR will be worked on after release of the BE and before the M. There's a texture overhaul to be released in the update after the BE.

I’d love to see some of the F1CT information you have. I just wish the F1EQ had more information available. 😭

I haven't payed that much attention to the F1(waiting on its first sale) but will any of the models get the exocet missile? DCS is sorely missing this anti ship missile.

Nope, never used on any of the models they are developing.

We'd need like an EQ-4/6 versions that iraq operated for that. Either one of those would be super based as well as they got all the goodies.

Such a shame the exocet is really one of those  weapons that should be in DCS, one of those anti ship missiles that have actually been used times in combat.

I mean given how sporadically and generally badly modeled DCS naval stuff is, IDK that I care too much. You still have the Rb-04 and Rb-15 basically being laser guided to this day. And there is huge variability in damage done by anti ship missiles, despite relatively similar warhead sizes etc.

There is people (including myself) asking Aerges to bring it to the F1M since it got the wires and the radar version who can handle it, but it was never used sadly.

Very true, bomb damage is also terrible for naval stuff. A tiny ww2 submarine can take 2 direct hits from 500lb bomb and still only lose 50% health and continue to fire of its 20mm flak cannon like nothing happened.

Not looking good for decent ww2 Pacific environment.

But still want the anti ship missiles. Then ED can maybe sort out om their end.

Meanwhile ED dont build a "realistic" Ship Damage Model, has nothing to do....

I mean honestly while I hate the fact the naval model is bad, I also have done the mental excersize of what a decent "naval" damage/missile/radar model would entail, and then multiply that by the 50 or so ships we have in DCS, so its no small task.
