I am somewhat attracted to the early fulcrums, in clean brand new coats of paints in the 80s. Very nostalgic. 

There is also something about those 90s and early 00s disheveled looking ones

As in: ED is limited to specific budget they can spend on the art for their product and prefer to "outsource" that to the skilled artists in community. Hence we often get DCS XYX skin contests.

Btw, there are ongoing problems with e.g. reworked F-5 liveries, since these community designers have now issues with loading of the models into ModelViewer2. I am concerned that the same problem will occur with Mig-29.

I don’t think many people would have issues with 9.12B liveries, as those were more prevalent.
