Today,i hope finally, today we should see if the new 6 (7 week) update system is really worth the wait and brings the desired results... let's hope it isn't a useless wait and finally brings updates to our modules (Razbam excluded) otherwise I preferred the old system which at least it made the DCS world more lively and dynamic which for me, I repeat my opinion, became boring and less interesting.

If you require updates to find DCS not boring, then I don't know what to tell you otherwise than maybe "you're doing it wrong"?

Then just go an play. Stop worrying about every update. When it comes, it comes, there's really no point in being anxious about it. There's plenty of fun to have, you just have to be creative

I'm just waiting to be able to play again, thanks to the Oculus issue, DCS has literally been a non-starter for the last couple of weeks.

I totally get it. I have the same "kind of waiting for christmas" feeling with every new update in the hope of some new content. But I try to by reasonable and remind myself that I really should enjoy DCS as it is and just play, instead of waiting anxiously for patchday.

Obviously that is a different story when one is affected by game breaking bugs like Lace.

I usually don’t care much about patch days, but the above is something that I really look forward to … hopefully ED and Razbam can reach an agreement 🙏

Makes me think of my pre-DCS days, flying another sim but taking a look at the DCS forums from time to time, and seeing change logs 100 lines long with things like:

Fixed - AIM-7 sub vector paint micrometer bearings

Fixed - AIM-7 partial fin delayed reaction cooling

Fixed - AIM 7 weekly gyro update crew tangent above Mach 1

...and I'm thinking WTF! is all this?

Now it all makes sense. :smoke:
