Absolutely agreed, which is why I ended with "but we won't". I personally don't have the time to feel bad about missed release dates, it is completely out of my control so it is no use. Also plenty of stuff in the hangar that barely got any flight time yet. This time around I had to temper my anticipation twice in a row, last release date I had a holiday which would have been perfect timing and was actually the reason I decided to pre-order so it took some extra effort to get over it today again.

Speaking of development: 3 years old Apache is still flying 2.5x crab angle than it is supposed to. I see ED is working on it, full steam.

You will rarely (if ever) see me whining about a bug. Giving reports, making wishes - sure, but probably not whining. Mainly because I'm an adult with too many actual adult problems to worry too much about a frickin' module of a computer game I happen to enjoy. But that's just me of course.

The sentiment is still: If you don't like EA or if you think it gives the wrong incentives - don't do it!

Regarding the crap-Angle. This is a general problem, too. 10 people have ten different priority lists. I'm aware of that and therefore try to avoid projecting my priority list on ED or anybody else. I make wishlist entries if I really want something and otherwise, I focus on things I enjoy.

I may use the time to learn to fly the I-16. Bought it last week, but never bothered because I was expecting the Chinook. Maybe now is a good time to get to know that tiny little Soviet fighter.

With this little faith in a product and developer , I am kind of amazed you buy anything. 
Anyway what is the problem not installing it if you do not want to fly it in state it is in now. 
And meantime others can test it out and give them a chance. I do agree in many complaints here, I do understand the frustration. But it kind of not helping. ED is aware of this. Chinook is a legend, just as much as the Huey. The hype is huge and anticipation high among many. Yes indeed, this would have been better off saying before Christmas last year that the chinook will be delayed to end of this year in a better equipped state. But even then not finished. 
As for now I look forward to its arrival

I would have thought releasing it, and it being good, would drive more sales. Not delaying. Maybe it's simply not as ready as they thought/hoped......

I only know what I've seen in the last 2 months, and in just 2 months, there have been a number of actions that make me not really trust them. If you trust them that's fine, but  I will proceed with caution.
