Where exactly do i play the "me" card. I´ve asked what his conclusion of reversed racism is based of. That´s all, the rest is about general stuff going on. If you can´t take it, maybe social media is not for you?

You got in a discord spat with another person, and looking at your post history over there, was quite literally your first significant post over there, obviously looking for a confrontation with someone. Then you are off elsewhere to complain to everyone else about someone else’s behavior towards you. Yes, that’s playing the ‘me’ card.  Subsequent posts show a history of nothing more than trying to grind an ax over the same. You had people at the time telling that both sides were acting like children yet you conveniently left that part out.  Haven’t agreed with Hammer on a single thing so far in this thread, but finding myself doing it now.  Your follow-up posts inviting confrontation over a group of people to do nothing but create more confrontation just adds to it. You are trying to play a game that you can’t play very well.

Being an official 3rd party developer to me means that ED guarantees the quality of those developers. After all, developers could easily release content for DCS:W unofficially, simply as a paid mod. That's more or less how it has been working for decades in X-plane, FSX and MSFS2020. And as we know, you don't need to be an official developer to make a reputation for a team. See the A-4E project, PMDG addons for MSFS, A2A addons for MSFS,... Never official, still better than original.

Not exactly: in xplane or msfs you have free access to the development kit, so basically everyone is an "official" party, but you can sell your modules on your own site and you are the only one responsible for your modules: if PMDG or A2A go bankrupt, microsoft or xbox games can't care a less and you can't claim anything from them. Here you have to sign some sort of official agreement to obtain the development kit and you can sell your modules only through the official ED channels (this site or steam); on the other side ED is called upon to act as guarantor for the 3rd party.

This isn´t Razbams first <profanity>show btw. I remember them trying to paint the Harrier as feature complete while it was nowhere near feature complete. The had to back down after a massive <profanity>storm on the forum. And i´m still waiting for my promised Harrier manual, RB is incapable of delivering for years now. Razbam has a very "special" reputation, not only in the DCS community, but in every community they provide 3rd party modules for.

This should be written in stone. I started to think everyone here has short memory, fortunately it is not so.

It does not really matter, though. Their past "reputation" does not excuse the current situation, if they are indeed the wronged party.

Their entire reputation can be gauged in their discord. Go in now and look at the posts over a couple of hours.
They can't even control their own users or don't want to.

Dude! You come off as the racist suggesting that Russians are a race. "Hate speech" maybe, but this is the Internet and to be expected when people pick sides in their boring life. Grow some skin. Agree with Rainmaker about the "me" thing even if I pretty much disagree with him about the rest. Not many really cares about your feelings. This may sound harsh I know. But one has to wonder if these are your first flames.
Cheers and lighten up! It's not the end of the world. Could have been way worse IRL.

I'm on there (while not all that much active) and what I see is mostly one former dev who is extremely passionate and disgruntled because they weren't paid for a long time (and I'm not assigning blame for who's fault that is ultimately)

And also a bunch of customers complaining because their favorite modules are actively breaking.

I'm genuinely alcurious what an appropriate reaction to these recent happenings is in your mind especially from customers ?

In my opinion I think there are lots of people out there who are none too happy with what's going on, and the discord is a space for them to vent and express their displeasure without arbitrary limitations.

I get the impression that ED sees a future refund as their way out of any blame, but for many people the dedication in study/practice and heart can not be resolved by a 'refund' (i.e. in-store credit for some other module).

I blame the whole world (of coders) for letting ED to become the only option 😕

Correct me if I am wrong, but Heatblur sell their modules on their website.

Solve the problem on whatever level - I don't like the RB situation, I don't like RB attitude in general, so I wrote ED about my problem and want to find a way to solve it. But I don't think it's a good way to sit in discord and write inappropriate negative ‘jokes’ about ED and ED forum users the way RB are now writing in discord and RB themselves are not paying attention. After everything that has happened in 2 months, I'm almost not surprised that this situation is with RB and not anyone else and discord is an indicator.

upd: don't think I treat ED differently, I just don't express my negativity because they try to be constructive and at least try to behave like a service provider, not like a company that will close tomorrow and the most important thing for it now is to slam the door loudly. Pretty sure RB won't close and the problem will be solved. But for me personally, the unpleasant impression of them will remain for a long time.

They sell a key that you have to redeem at the ED store

That's good, but isn't the payment done on HB website?

Why are we to know how ED and HB solve their financials? I only bought from the store for the T-shirts.

Agree and we should not get HB into this thread because it is the ED internal business strategy.

This thread is mainly about RB.

Here is video how the Mig-19P looked like when ED denied to remove "EA" mark out of it.

Recently?

Please check again after the next patch and let me know, thanks.

I don't have the M2k, but as for today's patch, there is no nothing in the changelog mentioning it.

My point is not bring HB in this mess by any means.

Its just an observation: if HB sell license keys on their website, that mean you make a payment to HB firstly.

RB could have done the same thing...

NO update in the changelog, no news. This is doing real damage to ED, RB, other third party devs, hardware peripheral companies, content creators. The whole system is being harmed. Sad!
