Try those two aircraft. Note the differences; note the similarities; note the problems that exist in one aircraft that absolutely should work in the other (aside from the obvious). After that, tell me why. Im happy to put my comments to test. Ill tell you who exactly Ron blamed.

Unfortunately people need to learn the hard truths of the world. Just like everything else, just because someone doesnt like it doesnt mean its not true. Ill stand and die on that hill. Ill refrain from posting more, but Ill stand by my statement too.

I wrote that I consciously bought the RB module because I like this plane and I wanted to have it. I knew what the situation was between ED/RB and this is my decision and my risk. And no one has the right to tell me what is good and what is bad.

if thats the hill you wish to die on, fine. I gave Razbam the benefit of the doubt, much like I did with VEAO...and every other module creator in DCS. Not many people have more of a bone in this fight than I do. Its your opinion to side with Razbam, but if you are going to call out people, dont do it stupidly and blindly like you are now.

All products will be fully supported by DCS and will continue to operate.

Hopefully both side fix problems in a conversation. Razbam have done a great job

I know EXACTLY what you said, and I told you that not everyone here has a bigger bone in the fight than I do. You stated you like the plane and wanted to have it. So did I. I also knew what I was jumping into with RAZBAM behind the wheel. I gave them a second chance. And just because you knew the decision behind ED and Razbam does not mean that RAZBAM DOESNT HAVE A HISTORY OUTSIDE OF HERE. Again, if you wish to side with Razbam (and I am not saying YOU are) thats your opinion. But you arent going to tell me that with YOUR OPINION  Razbam products are all good and hearty when their tale is a long and sordid one with both quality and with questional reputation. Language barrier or not, take it however you wish. I dont really care who you like.

It seems like that history, as well as the current situation, is all down to a certain person at RAZBAM having an ego that needs to be hauled around behind him in a C-5 whenever he goes flying, so to speak.

Obvious attempts at psychological manipulation don't help their case, either. I think that it's all down to Ron having to be told he's wrong in an official paper signed by a judge, since he treats any other way of telling him that as a personal affront (and he may treat the judgment as an affront, too, but he'll have to comply with that).

I do appreciate the frustration and the concern about losing these modules and the damage already done, but please, in order for us to keep this thread open, we need to ease up a little. Please.

Great theory, but people like him likely won't bow down even to a judge. We've seen it before. Celebrities, Politicians, "Influencers", you name'em... even when someone who represents the law tells them "No, you are in the wrong, and it's time for you to pay up", they still act like the victim. Ron's likely not much different. Even if a judge told him he's in the wrong, owes ED money, the source code for the modules, etc. He'd likely go around and claim that the judge was in cahoots with ED or something, and demand a new trial or something, and drag this out until the universe dies of heat death.

But we'll see.

IMHO, the best outcome would be for everything to go back to the way it was. But failing that, I think the next best option is for ED to get full control over the modules so that they're not only maintained, but improved over time. Maybe even getting some variations on some of them (like the Mirage 2000D two-seater, or the AV-8B+ with the radar)... hey... I can dream can't I?

I'd argue that Ron has a bigger ego than Musk does. Musk is at least willing to work for free after all

Sure, he's got enough money to buy a full military and take over a sizable nation, but he still has his humblers... and a bit of an excuse to act the way he does in public as he's on the spectrum. From what I've seen of this fiasco however, Ron's got nothing even approaching an excuse for what's going on within his own company. And like you said, the majority of us saw it, or saw the issues with their side of the story pretty quickly, but I'd argue that enough did side with them that Ron's shielded from the necessary pressure to make a deal out of court.

I do wonder what would happen if a judge were to rule against RB, and ordered them to pay damages as well as hand over the assets. My gut tells me that Ron would drag it out as long as possible, basically operating on malicious compliance. He may turn the assets over, but he'll find a way to do it so that it drags on for months, essentially making it cost more for ED. But that's my theory.

For someone who's not Elon Musk, that's a very good way to end up charged with contempt of court. In fact, if you've been paying attention to the news, it's been creeping up on Musk, too. I do hope Ron is smarter than that, because in absence of an outrageous political bias (which he, not really being anyone of note, can't count on), courts tend to come down on that sort of thing hard. He's really not in the same league with those who are capable of bending the laws and getting away with that.

He might drag it out for as long as he can legally do it, but there tend to be limits on that, and companies as a whole don't usually work very fast, either.
