This is just because the EU prices typically include a ~20% sales tax. 5 hours ago, propeler said: Man, what are you talking about? [...] In terms of comparison to cars all present on the market now (including Brunner) is not even Toyota Corolla. It is closer to Yaris as most. What you propose to produce will be closer to Fiat Seicento You are taking the comparison a little too seriously. The point is just that there is room for a cut down variant for a substantially lower price. 1
rapid Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 (edited) Check this video out of the Moza FFB. It looks like the motors are very strong as the base is shaking like nuts - Plane in a dive I guess and stalled. Also it may be the camara angle but the base looks huge! Time Stamp 8.33 https://youtu.be/jQsh_hmvHgo?si=heGS4VOSJT_CQvo8 The base is shaking like nuts because the mount it was on wasn't very solid. Regardless of that, I'm sure the force strength will be more than adequate. 1
Chicki Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Hey rapid, thanks for the info. The measurements don't quite make sense. Could you please recheck your data? Also....where did you get the measurements from? Did I miss something from their website? Thanks pal.
Aapje Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 I figured it out, those dimensions are from their sequential shifter. They almost certainly copied that page as a starting point and then didn't update the specs. Right now the specs are hidden from view, but they are in the HTML (including a mention of that sequential shifter). So those dimensions are not accurate in any way. 2
Thadiun Okona Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Using the M36 stem at the top as a known measurement, the enclosure of the base looks appx 240mm long, 200mm tall and 175mm wide 1
rapid Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 (edited) Apologies I got those dimensions from Moza. I asked them to re check and they sent me the below image which is not very helpful or what I requested. It would seem that not everyone has the correct information yet. Details have not yet filtered down to everyone. Aapje Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 That looks like a mounting plate design drawing, but it should be possible to at least get the length and width by using a ruler to check how many mm on the screen makes for 60 mm in reality. Then you divide 60 by the number of mm's to get the real distance per mm of screen distance. Then you measure the length and width on the screen in mm's and then multiply that with the previously calculated number. That should be quite close to the real number. I'd do it, but I'm traveling and am ruler-less. But I'm sure that one of you can do it, otherwise I'll do it next week. 1

zcaa0g Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I hope this supports DirectX FFB as opposed to relying exclusively on a proprietary API that only works for specific titles. I haven't seen an official word on this, but I get it's early still. 1
