We will have some news today in the newsletter about what is coming, but I can not give you any ETA on the patch until QA have completed all checks and are happy it is ready for the public build.

Already downloading.

14 GB patch for me. I do not own Sinai (big uptade predicted), altough I bought the Chinook and have quite a few modules. Nonetheless, it seems to have a hefty sized patch, which is always good.

My dedicated server is does not recognize that it needs to be updated, yet.

I'm told by Updater "Your 1TB SSD has only 112GB free space less than today's 170GB needed".

I'll retry updating after temporary uninstalling Kola map.

Modules: A-10C/II, F-4E, F-5E(Re), F-14A/B, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV-8B, FC3, Ka-50-2/3, UH-1H, Mi-8MTV2, SA342, Mi-24P, AH-64D, CH-47F, P-51D
Maps: Nevada, PG, Syria, SA, Sinai, Kola, Afghanistan, Iraq, CW Germany, Channel, Normandy2.0      Assets etc.: CA, Sc, WW2AP
Mods and Skins in User Files: files/filter/user-is-western0221/

Currently 1TB for DCS is not enough, the simulator does not grow, it only swells. After Kola I changed the disk to 4TB only for DCS, each map now weighs 100-180Gb, plus new modules etc. If it continues like this, by the end of 2025 DCS will have 2TB.

In general they should change the strategy and release all the earth with autogens, with the current strategy, at some point people will stop buying new things due to the size of the maps and some of modules.

I didn't expect that. I hope it's good. It could brighten me up a bit and I could do with it.

I didn't expect the surpise I had earlier which wasn't too good. A silly kid came speeding around a blind corner and just killed my car. Oof, head on, goodbye.

It hasn't done a lot of miles. It's been taken care of and isn't regularly out and about and it's dead. He's killed it. Kapput, bye-bye, finito.

So while Mrs Slippa does the insurance and the heartbreak, I'm gonna get stuck in me Chinook.

I hope it's nice. No pressure.

And for gods sake I hope the update fixes these bloody stutters and crashes I've been having. Ugh. crashes.

Fridays are usually a rarity for a patch and a new module. Correct, me too.

Note. Installing the patch forces a system restart, so close everything you have open.

Right after downloading the patch, Windows 10 restarted itself. Why is that? 🙄

While installing the update AVG antivirus claimed that the file ARF.DLL was infected with malware.  After researching I told it to create an exception for this and the install completed.  When I scanned my system with Malwarebytes and it found no issues, however, when I tried to launch DCS Malwarebytes blocked it and quarantined DCS.exe saying it had malware is well. 

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Did not happen for me (Windows 10). Installed like every other patch. 🤷‍♂️

I was also surprised and didn't believe it, I even wrote there that it might be someone's Windows update that has accumulated. Strange.

Is there any news for steam users? Still no sign of any patch there. No patch, no Hook 😞 Hope we get a discount on steam, too.
