f14billy Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) I uninstalled everything: Pimax Play, Pimax XR and Quad views. Rebooted. Then either uninstall the openxr toolkit or disable DCS in it. Installed the new Pimax Play, set up my headset, set OpenXR as the default and enabled quadviews in pimax play with the balanced setting. Lauched DCS and enabled quad views in the VR settings to test. It was giving me micro stutters. After all that I reinstalled Mbuccias Quad Views and retested and the stutters were gone and I get to use my QV settings. Edited September 30 by f14billy

Also I did not enable the eye tracking option in DCS VR under quad views, it was not needed for Quad Views and eye tracking to work. I don't know what it does so I am leaving it off. mmarques Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Anyone figured out how to load up cargo in the UH-1, Mi-8 or Mi-24 yet?

You have to tick the option in DCS, then mbucchia works. With the option in DCS off it bypasses mbucchia. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread

ChariotOfFLAME Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I'm getting an error from the native updater that DCS World\Mods/aircraft/F-4E/bin/HeatblurJester.dll is a virus. Anyone know how to get around this? Tried both types of repairs. autoupdate_log.txt

Gryzor Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Mouse polling rate fps hit is not fixed for me. Moving mouse causes fps drops specially main menu, its quite noticeable in VR... exactly the same as previous version. I don´t understand some patch notes... maybe devs are testing another version?
Glide Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Outstanding! That new TF-51D handling is awesome. Performance is stellar!

So they added settings in the 'special' options tab for putch and roll controls. There used to be some weird funky deadzone and curves in there to simulate the vipers force sensing sidestick controller. But hardly any of us have such a thing. And on a regular joystick the viper felt sluggish and imprecise. Well, no more. It feels quick and nimble and a proper hunter now, worthy of its nickname. Still no 'nine G for days' though. twistking Posted September 30 Posted September 30 on my feeble 16gb system performance feels a bit more stable. less stutter and f10 map switching is snappy again (used to be very sluggish). 1 My personal wishlist after half a decade with DCS: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/184968-my-personal-wishlist-after-half-a-decade-with-dcs

That's a big update for that map, can see why some peoples downloads have been 250GB. Think mine was so small as most of the stuff I have wasn't listed on the update and the stuff that was it was smallish, I thought it was 2.6GB but was 14.1GB when I checked 1

v2tec Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) After playing a few hours (in vr) with the new patched version 2.9.8.1107 I can confirm the performance has been improved. It is also good to see a lot of bug fixes in the patch description, even improvements for the (good old) syria map. btw, had no problems with updated process. Good Patch. However, didn't check my WW2 modules... Deadguy Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Is anyone else having issues with Tobii eye tracker after this update? Head-tracking through Tobii worked fine yesterday. Today, the eye tracker doesn't even show up under Adjust Controls. Tried rescanning devices and nothing appeared. Gamehub is up, and I just tested it on Arma 3 and it works fine. Mine is a Tobii 5.
