I'm very curious about these changes, I'll check it out today, yesterday it wasn't possible ;). It's a pity, however, that we don't have Sniper yet.

What I like is that I feel that the FM is more stable now. This is especially noticeable at low speeds (e.g. approach to landing), when the F-16 tended to swing. Now it is much better.

Still seems a little squirelly after raising gears on take-off below 300kts. Need to be very carefull with lateral stick inputs or it starts yawing a lot.
Massive improvement though.

What do you expect from a single engine small wing surface F16?
In that configuration and at FL250 you might wanna try an F15 instead 😉

Well, a block50 with 2 bags and AA should be stronger at FL300 in MIL than it is in DCS. It is very easy to enter in 2nd regime actually.

@Spartan111sqn FL 300 is not the FL an F16 is designed to give top performance as far as I know. But I am not the right one to judge.
It would not be the first time that the DCS F16 underperforms in certain regimes. If you can prove it with unclassified documents I would be more than thankful if you can send it to the devs at ED that they can take a look at it.

The Viper doesn't like high altitudes very much, but it helps if you can keep your speed up when climbing. Generally, climbing to high altitudes with any kind of load, such as a pair of bags, is not always a good idea, and if you get slow up there, your only recourse is to drop the nose. The Viper has small wings and will never be particularly snappy in thin air.
