I was an FAC in the 1970's and this was our preferred aircraft to work with.  I had the odd ride in most things - F4, Bucc etc but never got a ride in one of these, but god how I tried !! I was 6ft 2in then so not sure I could fit in that small pit, an aircraft well suited to small people !!!

Really nice workmanship boys (and gals if you have any), well done.

A bit OT, but might be of interest here - not least as a potential promo route for when @Cam1McH gets to that stage...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Just found this thread - great! A real working Jag is exactly what we need for the upcoming Cold War Germany map!

I love the Jag, flew it twice on photo missions in 1986 and 1989. First jet I encountered with a HUD in the backseat.

And 1989 during Tactical Fighter Meet 89:

@crazyeddie You are 1,88m tall in my measuring system and I am 1,84m - and I fitted well in.

Great video!

The Jaguar is my favourite Cold War era plane. There's just something about that shape that says deadly and sexy at the same time.

Plus that landing gear! I think if I had a Jaguar, I would spend a lot of time just driving it around.

I managed to get up close to one at Duxford a couple of weeks ago when they were moving it between hangers.

Apologies for the lack of updates here.

The project is still alive, although work has slowed due to the real world unfortunately getting in the way.

Modelling work is basically complete, we are looking for someone to join the team to help out with finessing the unwrap and doing the texture work.

I’ll dump some more of the images that have been shared on our discord.
