Robi Hobby Posted September 30 Posted September 30 If you watch the Reals Videos on YT , you can see how everything moves: Cables, Seats, Sun Visors, etc. Even the Pilots get shaken around. That's completely missing from the CH-47F, and in the C-130J, it's just the Microphone Cables. There's simply not enough life in VR.
Hiob Posted September 30 Posted September 30 It's a tough call. When I see how you get thrown around in a GA in MSFS, even in moderate turbulences.... a middle ground would be nice. The Air in DCS could be more lively. But I think that is more an issue of the atmospheric model in DCS and less an aircraft specific issue. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

Pretty sure there is a bit of dash wobble. Get yourself some transducers and bring a bit of life in. Works well. I expect the herc will have a constant hum through the seat. The hook is a great module for transducers... 1

And like mentioned above, get some transducers/bassshakers/buttkickers etc. It really is a must. 1

I'm much more impressed by properly modeled systems, realistic operations and a good flight model. The trinkets and physics on the aux cord are neat and sweet to see, but def shouldn't be priority. it is good to set some realistic expectations with modules, cause some things like a pilot model shaking around or bouncing around has 0 effect on delivering a high quality simulation. Maybe some shakiness on the sun-shades at most would be neat (if it isn't there already). 5

I certainly agree with the focus being on the actual aircraft and its systems being good, but I can't deny that little effects like that tend to go a long way. It's why a lot of the simulators of old seemed rather sterile, I feel, the way that the static cockpit and the world outside were so disconnected. 3
Someone Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I can assure you both that these priorities are not in conflict with one another. 5 1

Hiob Posted Tuesday at 09:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:24 PM Some awesome aerial footage from, amongst others, the C-130(J?) 2 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
YoYo Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM The patch is being delayed, but maybe it's not about the C-130 at all, but rather changes to the MiG-29, I suspect, and it's probably also due to the beta ED team's limited time testing the C-130. I was hoping the patch would arrive this week, which it didnt. There are still 10 days left so fingers crossed. 1 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro
Furia Posted yesterday at 07:47 AM Posted yesterday at 07:47 AM (edited) I would rather wait nicely if they need to take their time to make a solid release with a playable and enjoyable module. However as I also mentioned in anothe post I would highly appreciate if they could made an early release of the manual so we have time to start reading and get familiar with such systems and operational methodology This aircraft have some systems and operating methodology that would require us to read the manual in detail to understand its operation. So I would rather wait while reading the manual awaiting the the module gets ready for release. However, the goal is once a month (for the bigger one). https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/ 2 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro

I know the pattern is irregular, while I thought they had stated they would aim for a six weeks cycle.Anyway, I'll hope for you that it comes sooner than later. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
