Seems not baad. I was very pleased and enjoyed Silent Hunter 3 already ^^.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Couldn't agree more, Acedy.

But looking at the content, it is exactly what the community wished for, when SH3 was developed, so I guess that somebody in the team has received the message. Let's hope they won't fail in the other parts of the simulation and especially the campaign-mode.

If that succeeds as well and we will even see a multiplayer mode, this could indeed be a big one.

Looking great, I'll surely get me a copy! I've spent months playing this game SH,SH2,SH3 but I skipped WoP. I'll try not to do the same mistake again! Thanks for the Heads up!

Dangerous waters is awesome!! Me and a friend were just saying yesterday that they need to make another one and have the interactive crew and ability to walk the whole boat... Every time a new sub sim/program comes out I see all the little things it's missing :(

A quality cold war era sub sim would be nice. I was a reactor operator / technician on a Permit class sub, but it varied from the class in a number of respects. I doubt the Jack would ever get modeled in a sim due to that, but it would be nice to be able to virtually walk through one of our sister ships.

ive thought about trying one of these silent hunter games out for a while now.

I dont know if it would be a good idea to add another game to my plate that requires alot of study.

How complicated is the gameplay, is it the kind of game you can just turn on, explore and play and have fun, or do i need to spend hours in the manual?

I mean is it somewhat of a casual experience? at all?

I just woke up i dont know what im asking lol.

Dont let the smell get to ya...............

Yeah I was hoping for SH 5 to be Cold War, but well...

Let's hope for the Community Subsim to make good progress

Old post, I know, but it can be toned down to be fairly easily accessible. Automatic torpedo solutions, etc. You should be able to get the basics down in a couple hours. Pick it up

Also, few things are as rewarding as the first time you make a successful 2km manual torpedo solution. Was well worth the days of practice (just like full-real DCS).

But yes, the Silent Hunter games have a lot of scalability in difficulty. Whatever your desires you should be able to finda combination that suits you.

Very much looking forward to this!!

I'm very happy with the U-boat era since I just recently started playing Silent Hunter 4 1.5 with the Trigger Maru mod - Many sleepless nights :D Awesome game!

(works very well now that it's patched up, would'nt play it without the Trigger Maru mod though..)..
