Personally i would love to see a DCS SU-33. The SU-33 rarely gets any love and we do get to perform carrier ops and multi role missions with it (even though the SU-33 uses unguided ground weapons). Plus im sure the flight model of the SU-33 is already well developed for lock on so why not go the extra mile and make it even better eh? :)

I don't think the LockOn flight models would really be of any help for DCS products. Except maybe the advanced flight model, but only the Su-25T has that.

I wonder how classified the Su-33's systems are...

I'd be willing to bet the next DCS aircraft is already present in DCS World as a non-flyable aircraft.

While I have no clue what they are actually going to do... What I hope they do is alternate converting the Non-Flyables into sims and between each, produce a map sutable to the new opponants to operate.I can hope they take the Aircraft present and

I can't believe that US fighters are the only options in the poll. As if everyone only has a preference for US fighters to be the next plane. Sad and irritating to say the least to see such a narrow minded view point being pushed as the only direction for DCS.

I agree with you 10000% lol. Another aircraft that would be nice to see is the SU-30MKi. Out of all flankers i think the mki gets very little love in the sim world. The mki would also be perfect for strike ops.

I agree. If you look at the fidelity of the models as they stand, the F-15 models stand out in terms of detail. Not my first pick (I voted for the Rhino) but that's my guess.

I think the poll choices reflect the fact that they already announced the next module would be a fixed-wing US aircraft. This poll's a lot better than it used to be, anyway..!

What would your preference be?

@Speacy

YOU understand that this is only a internal demo - that's only intend is to show that it is possible to import FSX models in DCS - do you ?!

(clicking the info of this video might help);)

i understand, but the iris FSX models are not simulation reference and it's frustrating to see modules out of context integrated on DCS world.

I know if i don't like i don't buy but its not the same customers

Cool, didn't know FC2 had 3d cockpits.
FC2 had 3d cockpit but not clickable, fully fonctionnal and realistic Edited by Speacy

Who said they will still not be 'simulation reference' when they are released?

+1 for changing your mind...:)

One sentence about guessing/making assumptions:

That's one is the greatest problem of mankind since day one...

just think about what all went wrong , just because people didn't know - but did take their assumption as fact! think about ...religions, wars, sailing with a boat beyond the horizon without falling from the disk..., ect.... wink.gif
