ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted July 31, 2010 ED Team Posted July 31, 2010 I like the camera following the missle/bomb to the the target but what would be cool is to have a camera on the ground near the target but looking at the missile coming in. Just a small idea I would love.:megalol: Already possible actually. Though you have to use the F11 view, fly to where your target is, look in the direction where the missile/bomb is, and press the "," key (Numpad Del) and you can switch between different objects that the camera will follow (just like the F3 view). https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page
Sticky Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 My wishes: Put a good amount of time into performance (fps) and stability. AND release it SOON LOL hehe yeah I know those two dont mix, but still one can dream. Make lots and lots of missions and make the campaigns LONG cos I dont like to make my own missions so much, I usually play yours, and there needs to be more of them. Maybe some cool CAS missions where I get live information on the radio from someone on the ground and then I lase the targets he describes with the litening pod for incoming bombers. Something like that if it can be done would be awesome. Better smoke and perhaps better or new fire. The fire isnt that bad though. But yeah, the most important thing for me is performance and stability, I want to be able to use that litening pod without my computer crying in pain, and the controls getting jerky, and I want to exit the game myself, not always crash out like I did in old Lockon :) One more wish: Tell us NOW what the next dcs plane is!! PLEEEEEASE! :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Sim/Game CV: Falcon 1,3,4. Gunship. A10 TankKiller. Fighter Bomber. Strike eagle 2&3. F19 Stealth Fighter. F117. Wings. F29 Retaliator. Jetfighter II. Squid_DK Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Would like the possiblílity to play FAC for some fastmovers, putting the O back in the A-10. Definetely just a dream, and it would be a lot more feasible with some playable fast jet asset, maybe something for the future. aaron886 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 That's one of the most exciting features of DCSW already built in, Squid. (Might want to read around, you'll find some more exciting stuff! Try SimHQ.)
Squid_DK Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Yeah I know, but I would like for the player to be the FAC and from what I have been reading it is the JTAC that is simulated. Eis Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 it is the JTAC that is simulated. Is JTAC simulated? Will it be available in DCSW? To be a ground controller? :ufo:
Squid_DK Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 No it is just simulated to assist you in attacking, DCS A-10 will be a simulation of well... erm the A-10. Panzertard Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I think ED/TFC should make this thread PPW (Pay Per Wish) thread, or they will never stop dreaming. :smilewink: Your wish is hereby granted. hassata Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Don't want to keep harping, but . . . I've been messing with F4AF since I received my Cougar MFDs. The user-made MFD Extractor and FalconGauges are great tools. MFD Ex was so easy to setup and position (even for a man of suspect abilities such as myself), and so was Gauges. They can both run across a network, look beautiful and the performance hit is close to non existent. I know the guys in Russia are more than capable of delivering superior tools, I just hope they will be given the opportunity and the time to do so. Fairly or not, I've sometimes felt the 'cockpit building' tools in BlackShark were tacked on. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
GGTharos Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Unlike the Falcon guys, ED is on a bit of a schedule ... we'll see what they can do. They've only had 2-3 years to develop all that as opposed to 15 years + a comparatively large number of devs working on these things. That is a AWESOME idea............... I wonder if it is doable.. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Rikus Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 A10 Steam I hope A10 and future modules goes in Steam, because no need of Starforce, activations and deactivations, patch for english version, or russian or spanish, that are available for one and not for others... This is the way. Greetings
Duckling Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 To add to the wishlist in more generic terms for interfacing a Pit.. - Avoid "toggled" inputs where real switch gives a fixed funtion, (or rather add additional controls as needed). Ex. A rotary switch in real pit is mimict by a toggles-through avaliable positions in the sim 3D dito. Same options for external lights etc etc - "Pot's" and other options to increase/decrease a a value instead of toggling through'em to find desired settings - If a 3rd party SDK for interfacing a pit is avaliable (reference mention it but I can't find any additional notes) consider a free non comercial option or one at a minimal fee above notes is based on old lomac and FC. Havn't yet entered the realms of FCII and BS :-) and await the DCS-10C cheers gus - - - -
