I think it was Mower that provided the solution: You need to sign in with the same account you used to buy the sim and you need to register with the x64 version because 32 bit currently has a bug that is stoping the registration from properly working.

I have two quick questions:

- Does the new beta function in 64-bit mode, for Windows 64, for example?

- Is the Warthog HOTAS actually plug and play for the beta? I know it is advertised to be plug and play with the sim, but I'm not sure if that applies to the beta versions.

Thank you.

More questions

- has anyone had any issue uninstalling the game?

- Also, do you still need to install directx 9 to get the new beta working right (sound and such)?

- And finally, if you do need to install Dx9, does it set your computer back to Dx9, or does it simply add another library games can use (so games using Dx10 still work, or would I have to reinstall Dx10 to play them?).

Thank you.

MP: multiple clients in one flight?

is it possible to have more than one client in one flight in multiplayer?

it seem that the mission-editor automatically puts an ai-pilot in all planes but the first one.

i created a flight, set the pilot/skill to client and added another plane leaving the skill-option alone and saved the mission.

when starting the mp-server there where two airplanes available. after starting the mission with a player assigned to each plane the planes exploded after pushing the pause-key in cockpit. before that i noticed that another plane was exactly at the same parking-position like my plane. i was able to see the other planes cockpit right in front of mine. the same thing happened with my wingmans plane.

after that we tried the coop-mission that was shipped with the beta. same problem here.

i hope that is only a bug in the beta. will it be possible in the release?

Ever since all client ACs needed to be put in different groups. I don't think this will change with further updates.

Currently there's a bug in MP where if you have multiple players in the same flight (group) the game will crash. I sure hope that's not intended though. Making waypoints for each player is plain annoying. :)

It's not a Bug.

What Laud said - it's just the way it is.

Does anyone know if an in cockpit pilot model will be included sometime in the future?

My cockpit feels empty =(

Would be a shame to fly without some nice girls on the pilots clipboards

but that doesn't mean that it won't be changed in the future, i hope.

if there can be a second plane controlled by the AI which is sharing the waypoints with me, why can't it be another human player?

Hi, simple question... I have an intel core duo T5750 2GHz processor, although the sim requires 3GHz minimum, as I have two x 2GHz will I still be able to run it? Thanks

You will have certain problems with this. The amount of cores doesnt (yet) matter as much as the individual clockspeed. But medium settings might work, you need to try.

Hi everyone! I just finished building my new rig, which suprisingly runs DCS A10 worse, much worse than my previous computer.

The new specs are as following :

- CPU : Intel i7 960 @ 3.2Ghz

- GPU : Sapphire Radeon 5970

- Ram : Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz 12GB

- PSU : Corsair 1000w

- Mobo : Asus Rampage Extreme iii (3)

- HDD : 120gb Corsair SSD (Force series)

- OS : Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Running the latest graphics drivers 10.10e

My game turns into a slideshow when flying over terrain that sticks out (trees, houses)

It gets even worse when i turn on the maveric monitor (sorry can't remember what it's called, looks like FLIR or something.. I'm a total noob at this game )

Graphics settings are set to "High" with "Traffic" set to off and "Cockpit resolution" set to 1024. The clutter bar is set to 0 aswell.

I'm not sure if there's anything important i've left out, if so please point it out. I'm half asleep as i'm writing this.

I'm hoping i can blame on it still being a beta but it just seems odd that it runs so shite on this setup.
