Small update , just to show you that there is some progress:

Here is some good news:

Using This guide and spending houers to position your exports will be soon somthing of the past!

I'm testing a beta of Icemakers EMC (EasyMonitorConfigurator) and it looks very promising so far.

You will also be able to compose only one MonitorSetup.lua that works for A-10C/Ka-50/P51D(only Kneebord)/FC3(see above) at the same time and without any conflicts.

Here is is a preview of EMC,

Settings on the desktop / In-game:

We are still fighting with some very small bugs , but I'm sure you can expect a final release the upcoming weeks.

Hi,

here is just a little video that shows how I set up the first time the newest EMC-beta I'm testing right now.

It looks very good up to now - it has now every feature of the release in it.

,and I just talked with Icemaker about small things that has to be fixed.

When all works out as planed, Icemaker will release a "Release Candidate" for open testing within the next three days.

:)

BTW:

Please test this In the meantime >>> Click- and Customizable Radio Menu for DCS World - Page 12 - ED Forums

And give me some feedback.

hello gentlemen... I acquired my 4th. monitor 6 days ago and have been fighting (and losing mostly!) with lua files for the last 4 days. I stumbled upon this thread, frustrated... and I must say I too am looking forward to this tool.

Still flying version 1.1.1.1.... 'cause it all works for me.

Just one question.... I keep seeing "a contribution has been made". How do I make a 'contribution'? I think you should be rewarded handsomely for creating this tool. Please educate me on this!!:book::thumbup:

Works like a champ. I only did a quick test with a BS2 Helios profile that I am trying but it could not have worked much better.

I tested on a 7head set-up in the end (thanks to my wife for lending me her monitor and GPU-Card to me;))- .. I think this is really the answer to all "How I set-up Exports?"-threads.

Downloading. Will test it soon on a 5 screens conf. Finaly the end of 'how to configure my multimon setup" threads on ed forum?

He really deserves it !- ...I have read the source code.

@ Icmaker

;)

Firts time I tested your final setup.exe:

Some remarks:

Please add a default install folder like "Easy Monitor Configurator" - or something like this.

..and use a language file for the installer that recognize on what language it installs. :)

Please think about the people that are used to just click seven times accept/OK during a installation, without reading a single line...

..and for clarity sake:

please give them also a short cut on the desktop - so they don't have to look up what they have agreed.

Absolutely great,

one thing how can I change the install path, it points to my old A10 install not the world one, I have tried reinstalling the EMC but it still aims at the old install.

Ups...Sorry - never tested with a separate standalone version of one of the modules.

I fear there is no "easy" way to fix it for you as the way EMC reads the registry for the paths for the single modules is hard coded.

Only "workaround" I can think off, is to temporally copy the DCS-worlds files in the path of your Standalone A10C install. - do this by simply renaming the folders to match this path.

Or just make a backup of standalone A10c and de-install it and once you have set up EMC .- install it again and copy over your backup.

I know - this sounds very uncomfortable.

If this isn't what you looking for : wait for a fixed version.
