EAC wont turn on. align time 4.0 .08, NAV on, everything aligned, up and running, startup procedure by the book, like it used to work on 1.1.0.7, but now its not working. also when i start left engine, i get a warning for some reason, that was never there.

Not buggy, read back through the thread.

 

The aircraft starts with HARS selected on the Navigation Mode Selection Panel. Once EGI is aligned, select EGI from the panel (behind the stick).

Only reasonable ... when they did not get the Fighter jet to fly, and got a tanker instead ... they are trying to pull max available G and pretend they are in one :P

btw, new how are named the new briefing options on the controller asignment window? I have to re-map them, because LALT+B isnt doing anything here. also, my keyboard isnt american standard, so RSHIFT+´ also doesnt do anything because i dont even have the ´ key, and my replacement for that is in another place.

decided to reinstall the full 1108 download package and tick yes for install the MS C++ Redistributable (from the sim D/L)... it went uninstall and I think reinstalled.

 

Does it need to be done again?

I created a new list of errors in the latest flight manual over here. Please ED, correct them and upload the updated file to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/. It should only take you about 30 minutes and would make the community very happy!

ok ok. so the EAC was my bad. how about these things, what am i doing wrong? never happened before:

-pinky switch up / down works the same, it displays lights according to your panel, for both positions, middle is off.

 

Yes that is normal.

 

Yep and to have anti-collision lights on, you need to set pinky switch to off (central) then switch on anti-collision on the panel, then pinky switch back on to static or flashing.

Mules, sir, do not whine! They HeeeHaaaa!!! But, seriously, folks. I did the complete cleanout, download full version and reinstall. (No defrag here,SSD.) Three hours later (Only 15 min for the uTorrent dl) and I am still working on my joystick settings and other options. Far as I can see any stuttering, tree texture issues, etc. are gone. But, I really gotta park this thing and get some work done. Prolly be up to speed by tonight.

It was a feature that was added fairly late in the process. I don't know how the decision making goes, but I would guess that it was decided the bug was minor enough to leave it for 1.1.0.9 to fix.

And yes, sometimes, it can be about as time consuming to pull it, too.

I can see the briefing window if i click esc and then i select the option, but the commands are not there in the list, and pressing the keys also dont work.

Yes you are.

 

Don't forget to delete C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog for a fresh install and do not install old controller profiles, as these break the new key functions.

I noticed (for first time - but perhaps just noticed before) - as my wingman fired 2 mavericks and they passed by underneath me a "phuutt" noise- is that the sonic boom as they pass by?

 

whats happened to "recover" in instant action (yes I know its cheating :) !)

I did the new patch update, wow, really good.

 

Im just having one problem, the TGP is flickering all the time almost flashing, difficult to see... I have to look close with TIR and the flickering disapear... anyone else having this problem?

PS. I have steam, so i just downloaded the patch, turned off the auto update in steam, installed, in folder warthog... Everything works like a charm except the flicker in TGP, any suggestions...
