fs2004 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 some people have become to Buy any plane that produced by DCS (just like me), even if did not convinced with an aircraft, such as P-51D mustang i give it a shot then i get use to it! But I think that there are priorities in producing simulation aircrafts! However, there are some planes that characterized with their existence in battlefield more than others, which also owned by many major countries and participated in many military campaigns and battles effectively. DCS and Lock-on both had cooperate together and produced American Ground-attack aircraft (A-10) and Russian Ground-attack aircraft (SU-25,T) which was produced by Lock-on, and another wonderful Russian attack helicopter (KA-50). the question is: where is the American Black shark (AH-64 Apache) ??? why do they forget about Apache? why they continue to move forward with the production of aircraft less important? The most important thing, which is supposed to be motivated to DCS to produce the Apache, is that it was not produced in a realistic by any other company! I do crisize DCS because they are the number one undisputed, and i want them to keep it up that way. Thanks.
ED Team NineLine Posted May 23, 2012 ED Team Posted May 23, 2012 I think the most you are going to get out of them right now is they are working on a US fixed wing fighter, I dont think they have announced or even hinted at anything after that (aircraft wise), heck we havent even got confirmation on what the next plane will actually be... so yeah.. EagleEye Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Unfortunately Combat Helo project is nearly on hold. No one knows when Flex will have the time and money to continue on it with full strenght. http://combathelo.blogspot.de/2012/05/i-dont-like-this-new-blogger-interface.html So we have to wait even longer for a proper Apache sim...:( Deutsche DCS-Flughandbücher SYSSpecs: i7-4790K @4GHz|GA-Z97X-SLI|16GB RAM|ASUS GTX1070|Win10 64bit|TrackIR5|TM Warthog/Saitek Pro Pedals

Long short of it is (imho) ED/DCS needs security clearance before releasing to the general public....no(not enough) declassified info for the apache (again all speculation on my part)
AlphaOneSix Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Long short of it is (imho) ED/DCS needs security clearance before releasing to the general public....no(not enough) declassified info for the apache (again all speculation on my part) The AH-64A is completely declassified...or at least, it is in the same sense as the A-10 (where just a couple of subsystems have been left out, such as IFF). To my knowledge, the D-model was never under consideration by ED.
WildFire Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I was looking at CH again a couple weeks ago. Been watching the development on that for years. I've been praying like hell that ED would approach him and create some kind of deal to finish it off. That guy has done so much and its so far along it would be a shame for him to quit now. But money runs the world and sadly I'm sure this is how it will end.
G-Lock91 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 When will the Apache become available??
