DCS World 1.2.0 Available

Just upgraded to the now current version. I have no narration in the training missions for the A10. I have game sounds, but no narration. Any ideas?

Just wanted to post and say "Thanks!" for the amazing CBU 97 with Blu submunitions. LOVE ...Absolutely love the animation. Freaking awesome. lol!!

 

So cool on how the skeets home in on the target. I was a bit off my CCRP path due to engine damage and crappy joystick tuning..but damn...so cool anyways. :p

Does one have to reinstall everything new JS etc. etc. or can one for ex. download the new patch for P51 and use it with the previous version of DCS world 1.1.2.1 ??

I already owned DCS A-10, but only started to learn the ropes this week, and so downloaded DCS World.

 

So how do I go about getting my A-10 into 'World'? The only option I can see is to buy it again.

 

What do I do? A step by step guide for a 'totally new and unfamiliar to the game series type chap' is what I need please.

You do not have to buy it again. Your key will work with the new software. If you have DCS World 1.2.0 then all you need is the A-10 module to go with it from here.

Just install World. Then install the A-10 module. None of this will affect your existing A-10 installation so you can either leave it installed or uninstall it.

This is what I did (I had a paid for version 1.1.1.1 A10-C) running Win7 64.

 

1. Uninstall A10-C, but don't do anything with your registry.

2. Delete any saved games etc

3. Download DCS World and install.

4. Download A10-C 1.2.0 module (approx 700mb) from DCS website.

5. Run installer.

 

Your registry should pick up that you had a previous version of A10-C and work. I had no need to buy new copy or put in previous activation key.

FYI, I know the instructions posted by Wags say to delete your saved games but that is for people with a previous version of DCS World. If you are going from standalone A-10 or BS2 then your saved games folder will not matter since World uses a different folder name.

If your existing A-10 is already activated you should not need it. If you did need it for some reason, it will prompt you for the key when you try to fly a mission (just like your current A-10 did).

AFAIK you can't, that setting only applies to Multiplayer.

It is. A friend of mine downloaded nothing but DCS World and was able to fly online with me using the SU-25T.

Not sure if I have the right forum, but I previously purchased BS, BS2 and A10. Instructions said to uninstall everything. Did that. Downloaded DCS world and modules BS and A10. Installed DCS World then the modules. All ok except when i go to fly it asks for the serial number again in both BS and A10. Tried to activate and it says invalid hardware. What did I do wrong?
