But they will wait until the very last day of the month to release. This is how they make their money. First they get the loyal fans hyped with an announcement. Then the news spreads to lower tiers of people who are somewhat familiar with it and all of a sudden they are hyped too. Then they tell their friends who tell their friends...and so on and so forth. Next thing you know you have a mass of people who are hyped for the release and cant wait to spend their $40 bucks. But for all this hyping to happen, it takes time. Hence the wait.... In my experience with ED, they've never held back a release when it was ready, unless it was required by some sort of contractual obligation - not that I recall the latter actually happening either. FC3 is only a part of it, as aaron886 mentioned an update to World is needed and I am fairly certain we will see new downloads for every single module as well. Getting all of that done takes time.
