The 51s server is the best server you can flight ever. So I get the conclusion of Frostie, better than many others here that believe they are the oracle. The Russian planes are much more flown than the F-15, but not only in the 51s server. When the Shika server was on. The red colition always won. Why?? Why?? Ohhh yeah the F-15 is the emperor and the Russian planes just playing baseball, great! Is best of the best

Do not missunderstand me, I'm all in for a DCS Su-27 or a DCS MiG 29 :D But I'm not sure that the 51st server is a representative statistics base for all online players.

Agreed HiJack, I'd love a DCS MiG. As a kid it was Frogfoots (first and foremost) and Fulcrums I built model kits of. :P

 

But it's not like anyone has said that there won't be a DCS Flanker or DCS Fulcrum. But whether there's an extra-pretty cockpit or not isn't the clincher for me, I want a full DCS level simulation. (Though, I'm not sure there's anything I don't want a DCS level simulation of... Probably not. :D )

Will there be a special bundle version that comes with Lock On Modern Air since it requires it for the install? I started out with DCS A-10C because of the realism and never flew the lock on series - but I'd like to get FC3 to be able to provide some fighter coverage in some missions I'm making.

that the radar in russian planes goes on by it self, when bandit is locked with vertical scan or other thermal lock and you pull angles out of thermal cone?

 

or that the radar doesnt remember where it was pointing when you brake the lock?

 

or that eos goes off if you pop to see nav mode?

 

or....etc.

Yeah the eagle is the first plane everybody learns usually, but ignoring veteran su/mig pilots and their requests for improvements (or fixes really), in hopes to lure newbies to the game is a crime imo.

Can't answer that (I just don't know).

However, if your intention is to build missions for:

- you to fly in A-10C

- other pilots (clients) to fly FC3 aircrafts

... then you don't need to buy FC3. Just make your mission in DCSW editor, assign "client" skill for those other planes.

No - clickable cockpits are exclusively a DCS feature.

Yep, build missions to your hearts content with the FC aircraft in mind. Once FC3 is released just set the skill levels to client and voila, it will work.

Or F-15 cycling through the same weapon multiple times when switching weapons?

Or F-15 failing to pick up ECM in TWS mode?

Read the thread, fixed. (Also the F-15's HUD WP navigation sometimes lies when in combat modes)

 

It's an Eagle show? The Eagle got 1 extra thing. That's it. And in FC2, it got patched when it was wrongfully overpowered. Meanwhile FC2 and 3 rebalanced and improved all aircraft. Sounds like a Russian, US show. The ones getting left out are the Europeans and Japaneses with no flyable planes. I hope I didn't just start another argument lol.
