For these following bugs please refer to this fix Corrected FC3 flyables HD pits

 

19 - SU-27 cockpit textures include English labels. Not consistent translation. Examples: MSL and GUN on the weapons panel

 

20 - SU27 entire RWR is in English

 

23 - Su-25, Su-25T and Mig-29 Caution, Warning and Trim lights are in english instead of russian letters

 

43 - SU27/33 weapon panel characters misalignment if the cockpit illumination is on

 

105 - Russian Pilot kneeboard showing incorrect map of Crimea

 

i have tried hard to get this merged into 1.2.3 but so far it hasn't made it, for now you can safely use this mod with the upcoming version.

To give you a general idea, Developers have a Dev build. We as testers have anything up to four Tester Builds, which are each separate and also separate and distinct from the Dev build. Then there are Release-Candidate builds which develop into yet another build, the final release build, released to the public.

 

All this sounds chaotic. Trust me when I say that it is not.

 

It works very well when you are accustomed to the system. It does however mean that bugs are not reported and resolved on the public build but on our internal build/s. Fixes then trickle down the system to the public release build. Also means that fixes might for some reason or another not make a particular patch/release. Does not mean that it never will - there is good method to the madness :)

This is exactly what I do for months! Thanks Mustang, it is a really great cockpit mod, I love it! Recommended for everyone, who needs improved cockpits for FC3.

I´m missing the F-15C fuel flow bug/problem in your list which I have reported a few days ago and Kuky confirmed.

 

Yes, Fuel consumption is wrong but not as you suggested.

 

Right now at MILL power fuel consumption shows around 90,000 lps/hour (note dial is not lbs/min as you though), so converting to minutes is turns out to be around 1500 lbs/min and when I fly for 1min at this power setting I get around 300 lbs less (150 lbs per engine).

 

So I think the actual fuel consumption is correct but dial is not... looks like it could have an extra zero in it.

 

It gets worse in idle and AFT... in IDLE it shows around 57,500 lbs/hour which is way too much, and in AFT it shows around 92,000 lbs/hour which is way too little (in AFT one engine uses bit more than 700 lbs of fuel at SEA level)

 

EDIT: I've reported this in ED bug tracker for them to check and fix

Hi !

 

I have problems with FC3 and Track IR.

When you don't want to use the Tack ir for Zooming, you have to disable the Z axis in the software. Then you can use [/] and

[*] for zooming/unzooming.

 

It Works well with KA-50 and A10-c but there is no way to make it possible with FC3 (i tryed Su33- SU27).

The track ir doesn't zoom, but using keyboard doesn't work too. :cry:

 

EDIT : I tried in a F-15 and it works well too. In fact the problem is in non-6dof cockpits.

 

EDIT 2 : Erf, track-ir is configured as an "axis" so you just need to erase it in the axis options of the plane you want. Sorry.

R-27 is not carried by Su-25, it requires radar and Su-25 doesn't have it (it's a strike plane not a fighter)

R-27 is not carried by Su-25, it requires radar and Su-25 doesn't have it (it's a strike plane not a fighter)

 

TM carries the Kopyo radar pod, capable of employing inter alia R-77's.

AK Carrier multiple a/c in MP takeoff

 

Putting two Su33s side by side on the launch ramp is fine until the second human pilot issues the U command to setup for launching. Then the left hand side a/c is slapped ontop of the right hand side and they blow up.

 

So thats two launch sites on the ramp, but only one is working. Workaround is to wait and launch one at a time. Sucks for dual launches.

R-77 seem so weak against chaffs, while AIM-120 sometime lose the track but do much better. Here two examples in one compressed file:

 

Know something we or ed don't about the R-77's? Also, remember they are still working on the missiles and we are getting some fixes in the next patch.

I'm not 100% on this (someone will correct me if I'm wrong), but I think AIM-120 and R-77 have the same seeker in the simulator.

In order to alleviate any misunderstandings/facilitate proper reporting, I will from now on post both the Resolved Items list and Unresolved Items list. This should aid in reporting as well as inform members of all the bugs reported to date.

 

RESOLVED:

54 - SU33/27, Mig29 RWR does not indicate A.I. missile launch

I am happy to see #54, but I am concerned that the problem with MP clients not getting RWR warnings (intermittent, but fails most of the time) with AI entities. This seems to be happening with all FC3 aircraft.

 

I fly with several people, and we are all experiencing this problem. Flying F-15C coop missions against AI with your buddies should be fun, but when the clients are getting popped with R27ERs without notice it takes the fun right out of it.

 

Why is this not on the list? Is it on the list and I am blind? Do I need to roll back video drivers or something? Should I post some you tube videos? I LOVE the DCS series, but I HATE getting killed without warning due to a bug.

Are you referring to the fact that the F-15 is not specifically mentioned?

 

If so, not to worry as the bug related to all flyables even though only two were specifically mentioned.

Loaded FC3 and G940 trottle will not assign axis. I hear the g940 needs fixed in here. I hope soon.

One remark. Is it possible to implement the PR (pusk razreshon) voice comand for russian aircrafts ?

 

This is from real life (Serbian Mig-29 on exercise in Bulgaria at 6:50 and 9:50):

Hi again. Ok, maybe I was not clear in pointing this issue as a bug not as a "wish list". When in "Game" mode, we actually get the PR sound notice. I would assume it would be ok to have this feature available also in the "Simulation" mode. Thanks:)

Ok, let's go in a visual way. :). I attached two trk files, one in simulation and one in game mode. Easy to picture, when the Flanker comes in shooting range in game mode, beside the PR symbol on the HUD, you get also an audio notice-tone (launch authorized). Viceversa in Simulation mode you don't get it.

 

The youtube link is just to demonstrate that this audio warning really exists in Russian aircrafts.

Refuel and rearm do not work on the carrier for the SU-33 in MP.

 

They did work for airbases (of your same side only) in MP, and with engines off.

 

Along with the air refueling, this is just as important for naval ops.

Please effect repairs.
