Sometimes I Amaze even Myself!
Suchacz Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 It IS from DCS, that text is telling that. Wow, Gripen, it gives me shivers all over, I really love this plane. Czech AF is using it too. I hope, that there is some chance to see it in DCS World. Nice find! Per aspera ad astra! aaron886 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Somebody hurry and tell the guy he should be working with DCS:World, not Flaming Cliffs 2! Nice cockpit model.
HungaroJET Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) Somebody hurry and tell the guy he should be working with DCS:World, not Flaming Cliffs 2! Nice cockpit model. Do not worry Aaron. Everything will be fine :) This is DCSW. Clearly visible: water/sea, clouds, sun effect, night-city-lights, smallshits and Senaki from 0:55 ---> and 1:25 ---> ;) Edited January 8, 2013 by HungaroJET Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. upupandaway Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) This looks like it´s already a bit further along and it looks great. Can´t really make sense of the translation, but this is an upgrade from a former Gripen-sim for FC2, now with model corrections and cockpit? No new 3rd party module. :( Edited January 8, 2013 by upupandaway [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
NRG-Vampire Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) translate and read arcticle from first post: this will be developed for dogfight competition by Jetfly.hu but i think Reaper, Krieger, Ducky, HungaroJET and BeczL probably touched that project too and the cockpit is WIP ;) I didnt see the small shits , in camo were they?!?!?! But eveything else looks excellant ..... well done that man !!! smallshits are small models - clutters, bushes, grasses on ground :D Edited January 8, 2013 by NRG-Vampire 1
Blaze Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 That Gripen is being made by the guys who were working on that excellent MiG-29 here in the forums for over three years now. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Frogisis Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) We definitely need some good Western European fighters. Just looking at the Gripen or the Rafale makes me feel like I'm living in a speculative utopian fiction novel or the world from the Ace Combat games. They've got the same "here comes the 21st Century" aesthetic as municipal bike-sharing stations or maglev trains (and other things they exist to theoretically defend). 59th_Krieger Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Hi Guys, I would like to complement and clarify the posted news and any information. This will be NOT a new 3rd party mod for DCS or any other earlier version of the game. We are preparing it to Our friend who will try to organize a little closed competition. As you see just the cockpit modell is our work the other parts has been made by other great modeller. So in this status of project We woudn't call this to a unique mod just perhaps a little complementary. We are thinking on it that in a future maybe creating a new external modell too, so We will finishing this beautiful aircraft with our works, but it is depend from it that How we will see the technical possibilities for it as in the current state of the cockpit can cause headache with the lack of appropriate development tools. By my opinion I'd prefer finishing the MiG-29 first, however it is a beautiful challenge to me and my friends too. And finally, please don't forget that We all have other full time job in a real life (yet:D). Thank you for your time, Krieger:) Edited January 9, 2013 by 59th_Krieger

Derk Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I agree it would be a wise decision to take that route. However, this info was from Januari. It would be nice to have another update soon. So Krieger, or anyone who knows him... pretty please? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
