EDIT: exactly at 1:08 he starts telling all the upcomming modules

Do you think that getting 9 women pregnant will get you a baby in 1 month?

F-15C FC3 cockpit open by modelview. All botons has connectors, and the animations has enabled by modelview. The Aft cockpit can be "ready" to a D versión. Sorry, I can´t mount textures. That can "confirm" future "harcore" F-15C module. Expected if future FC3 cockpits reach that detail level.

Its ultimate purpose has been revealed and confirmed...

Something which is also very good to hear (and sadly still a little cryptic) - at 8:33:

Sy27SM... almost a dream come true...

R77s and Kh31A/P..... pooor poor blue force wont even know what hit them apart from the kill msg...

The hornet.... yes .... not bad.... but still has to get CLOSE to the Russian SAMs....ohhh and get trough the SMs....

Mi24.... ohhh boy... that is a beast.... if the model will have the ability to mount the R73 or the Igla on dual rails....

i wonder if it will have the digital stuff... but the hind??

my day and this shit week just got a whloe tol better...

so... where is that 1.2.3 patch again?

What makes you think things are going to change that much more then? There are Su-27 using R-77's in some servers already. It didn't make that big of a difference in FC2, I don't see it being some overpowering force in FC3. It's still gonna come down to the pilot and wingmen. I hope you fly online. I'm gonna really need to stat flying FC3 and DCS again.

So I've been having this collective nerdgasm with everyone else over the video. I'm as excited as the next guy about the hornet and everything else. But I haven't seen it mentioned yet and I'm wondering, am I the only person unreasonably excited about the OH-58?

Back in 1997 Jane's Longbow 2 it was my favorite and I can't wait to get up in those valleys low and sneaky and call in some airstrikes.

Takes a little time to process - optimistically, within 4-5 years or so the list of aircraft available for DCS may read as follows:

- AH-1G Cobra

,,,

- BD-5J

Or might not.

Everything is subject to change.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

I thought that was pretty cool too. I wonder which version of the 58 it will be, perhaps it'll be able to work really well with the A-10C :)

But I haven't seen it mentioned yet and I'm wondering, am I the only person unreasonably excited about the OH-58?

You are absolutely right, it is. But as stated it´s an optimistic view. No "sane" person would be able to learn half the aircraft on the list anyway.

In before the questions of whether it'll be able to lase/DLink for the Ka-50's... :D

Any sane person can easily understand that it's just a matter of systems operation, like playing different games on your computer.

Learning to operate systems for multiple aircraft is easy. Most people think it's a challenge, or somehow confers mastery. It doesn't. The real trick is the flying part.

I'm pretty sure that F-18/F-15 will have the same principle as the A-10 with the SPI/SOI, etc...

Yeah, A-10 feels a lot like Falcon 4.0.

I'm not all that interested in attack planes like the A-10, but a week or two was enough to get familiar with it. I'll probably do the same for most planes and dedicated myself to a couple like the F-15 and Su-27.

BadCrC, I did a "search this thread" when the notes for 1.2.3 update were accidentally released. I entered "KA-50" and it said "No matches found".

Does not bode well...

I'll spend money when BS fixes are made.

Lol, yes smil. It's true that BS/choppers does not appear to be on top of ED favourite list when it comes to patches or new devs. 2009 BS1 bugs are carried out until today in BS2 when A10C is getting patched at a rate that makes me only wish I wasn't an exclusive rotarywing fan.

@Madone: yes, a Ka52 pit would require a bit of work on my pit, but this could also translate into 2 networked ka-50 pits with an agreed workshare!!

The biggest news and surprise is announcement of SU-27SM. If this turns out to be true, there are some major implications:

1. SU-27SM is (will be) the new, undisputed Ruler of the DCSW skies :P

2. It proves that is feasible to model gen 4+ Russian aircraft regardless of the new anti-spy laws in RF.

3. It proves that ED more than cares and is prompt to address community concerns regarding recent relegation of Russian aircraft development.

4. I'll spend more money, and hundreds of hours mastering the aircraft. Divorce is very probable outcome ... :D

Now, entering wait game ... :helpsmilie:

Or ED has a Contract to build a Simulator for the sucker and they can take that data and lock it up inside a DLL and use it in DCSW Too :)

How do you think they got data for the A-10C .... j/k/.//

Of course, the Ka-50 was overall harder to learn than the A-10C and that´s because of the way you fly it (although getting to know all details of A-10 systems does take some time). Many systems of modern jets/helis will work in a similar way, but how about older jets? They´ll likely be harder to fly (Starfighter) and their systems are probably less intuitive.

My point was more about the great range of A/C that the costumer will be able to choose from. I plan to at least buy them all.

you can subtract $44, as the F-100D package is a free release.

¿Something can open with modelview the new FC3 F-15C cockpit?. hides a surprise

I've already stated, when FC3 Beta Became availible, that the Animation Args and Connectors are all there and ready to be programmed into a Clickable Pit.

I've actually already coded some "clickable data" for some stuff.

That's exactly what I hinted in my previous post:

DCS quality simulator for SU-27SM with proper cockpit, would be great (and cheap) marketing asset to Sukhoi and perfect demonstration software on international fairs.
