Nothing can kill a new game quicker than bugs and slow framerates. But looking at IL-2:CloD, that game seems to have improved much since release. Let's have it! I don't really see what this could bring to top it, beyond maybe a dynamic campaign. For what a poor launch Cliffs was, its really come around today with the TF mod, and its amazingly cheap. 9.JG27 DavidRed Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) ^^totally depends what you want. for me personally, the sinlge P51 already tops clod.so far that i quit playing clod.besides, tf mods made clod for me unplayable because of very bad stutters.for me the game actually ran smoother on its release day then it does now. i just really hope, that luthier and co. dont make the same mistakes twice, and that they really stick to DCS's approach regarding level of detail and flight models. + even the now really old engine in dcs world tops clod in quite a few aspects(working dynamic weather, heck working weather, seasons, civilian traffic...and so on) not to mention that edge is almost here...im very positive that dcs will top clod with ease in pretty much every aspect very soon...for me it already does. westr Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 The only problem I have with cod and the team fusion mod is the aircraft controls you just can't set them up as nice as you can with dcs mustang they are to jerky that's one of the reasons in looking forward to this sim....
