I can confirm Trim for A-10A is not working and I have reported it

PS: it works in testers build but pitch up and down are reversed :D

That doesn't really make sense, since most things about the A-10C are easier.

Apart from the 600 page manual! What I'm saying is, not everybody wants such a high fidelity sim, with clickable cockpits and massive manuals, that's what Flaming Cliffs has always been about.

Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.

The option to buy the A-10A and/or SU-25A has now moved to the purchasable modules page in Module Manager.

The respective links take you to the DCS purchase page, where you can purchase either of them for $14.99, .. although it shows 2 purchase options for each, .. which look identical to me.

As an existing FC-3 owner, .. do I still have to buy these 2 updated aircraft?, .. or, is there just a glitch somewhere.

.. thought we FC3 peeps got them for free. :noexpression:

Isn't it obvious ?

If you have FC3 start it up, if you have the A-10A and the SU-25 as flyable aircraft why would you even consider you would have to purchase them again ?

You should get them for free, why not check to see if A-10A has AFM in FC3 now?

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

The A-10A on fire damage model without wings is still flyable as if it had it's wings, only for short moment though :D Thought that was Advanced :)

Anyway great to have the updates !

Um, .. NOT considering purchasing them again. I was wondering WHY it was giving me a purchase option, .. IF I already had FC 3, .. and according to Wags' post .. FC 3 owners would get the updated A-10A and SU-25A for free.

I would only expect to SEE a Purchase Option .. IF I didn't have FC 3, .. WITH the updated aircraft.

... logically speaking.

So, .. why present me with an option to purchase something .. IF I've already got it.

... unless I don't.

Ok, got the Hot-fix and started up an Instant Action mission and everything looked good. Started multiplayer and my dual monitor setup looks like this.

I know some DCS fanatics who would buy them anyway, just to support ED ;)

Well, my saitek combat rudder toe brakes STILL don't work properly in DCS anyway...

They 'stick' in the on position, even though they're fine on every other game I've tried and in windows controller manager.

Tried all the fixes and reinstalled everything. Just had to use a 50% dead zone in the end.

:(

I had this with my Saitek Pedals, all I had to do is reverse the axis in-game options. It has to be done per applicable aircraft.

In the Ka-50 the trimmer also trims the rudder. This differs from the Huey because, unlike conventional helicopters, the Ka-50 needs more rudder the faster you fly. Conventional helicopters need close to no rudder when flying straight and fast, but constant attention when hovering or flying slowly while adjusting the collective.

Yeah, I know the theory but in practice most of us have self centering pedals so trimming to the left causes a lack of rudder authority to the right and vice versa.

At the moment I have to avoid trimming while applying rudder so I don't lose authority in the opposite direction.

Did you go to the executable labeled "Update DCS World"? That will force it to upload the fix.

Don't joke with things like that..hehe...think about it wouldn't it be just a little annoying for some to know that they are in a situation with almost a sim within a sim like FC3 inside a DCS World with most modules so maybe it would be easier just buy the A-10A and the SU-25 modules too just to get rid of those d*mn $ signs and everything is clean and tidy...:music_whistling:
