  2. No, because the monitor just acts like a repeater of your VR headset. There's nothing extra being rendered. We've tested this. It makes no difference.
  3. This may have already been addressed but I couldn’t find anything in the threads. Just returned to the Apache after a while away and when I pulled up the George AI from the back seat, it was way at the top of my FOV. and in order to use it effectively, I had to disable the IHADSS. I’m using a Varjo Aero. Furthermore, when I selected a topic which required a list, that list was way at the bottom of my FOV. In 2D we know that these positions are right/low and left in the FOV. Is there a method to change these locations in VR to the correct ones that show in 2D? Thanks
  4. Make sure that you don't have the spacebar binded to one of your controls, for example many people have it binded to the gun trigger.
  5. probably yes, but it shows a bigger problem: how many more contracts are older than we suspect? Chinook? F4U? ED apparently doesn't want us to know which 3rd party modules carry the old risk And who says we won't be seeing this problem arise again in the next 7 years? I don't know how many older versions of DCS you wanna install?
  6. Very good advice. With a slight undervolt my 4070ti Super runs 10°C cooler and the difference is 1-2 fps at most.
  7. Other thought: the autopilot stays on with moderate stick input. Lots of new Viper people (myself included) instinctively start trimming when they're actually fighting the AP. Other than that, the F-16 just needs roll compensation for asymmetric load. -Ryan
  8. All “new” agreements… the Razbam contracts were already signed prior to the Hawk issue.
  9. Just because ASC was able to build a Load Master doesn't make it an FPS, and to do that, ED would have had to make changes to the core, because as far as we know, a third party doesn't have access to that type of code. Also, we're only seeing a camera, not a body, and if I recall correctly, the closest thing to that same vision is that of a downed pilot parachuting out, who can do exactly the same thing when he hits the ground, moving around objects, and I think that's the functionality ASC is leveraging (unless ED says otherwise). You're asking for functionality (HALO/HAHO), which has to be done by ED first in the core because it's not implemented, and things like JTAC, which would affect CA's stuff. I think we're talking about different things.
  10. I've tried the first & second missions, but the voice instructions don't seem to always progress to the next instruction. In the first start up mission, after completing an instruction , the next instruction sometimes doesn't happen for a minute or two. The mission didn't say when it was completed, I just guessed it was done. In the second taxi & take off mission, no instructions happened after the control input check before take off. After waiting a couple of minutes & no more instructions happening, I went ahead & took off & landed ,then quit the mission to find out I had failed. Maybe there's a problem with my campaign install, I want this to work though because I think it's a great idea.
  11. Update v1.1.4: Gunthrek Academy: F/A-18 Hornet - Bagel Fixpack Edition
  12. Of course. I was just testing you. Thanks for going easy on me haha Found it on page 8.
  13. It may be something you have on the back end we don't know about, but I would have my client in such a position have all 3rd party developers sign an addendum for all modules sold no matter when the original contract was executed to put in force the provision.
  14. It was in the release trailer at 0:42 seconds Confirmed in the prelease notes on ED's website null And ASC just confirmed on their discord under the C-130J videos and suggestions that the load master can walk outside of the aircraft all the way to the wing tip and around the entire plane.

  17. Where? I dont see nothing about a FPS on ASC C-130 video. And no, the "ramp walk" has none about a FPS.
  18. Hi Carlo, where can i download this MOD?, the official page IDS not working, thank you
  19. Appreciate it my friend! I can get off in the weeds on a great way to incorporate FPS stuff, but I think the logical transition would be something like JTAC or CCT's to start. Plenty of use designating for our current modules, can work on incorporating the foundations needed for possible FPS in the future, and gives the C-130 crew the ability to incorporate something spectacular in VR that has never been done, HALO/HAHO jumps. I think this would be killer to start with. C-130 and JTAC coordinate an insertion mission with air units. JTAC/CCT jump in and get on station and start a nine line when ready with whoever is inbound. Once the target(s) are eliminated, get to the extract point for pick up. This could in turn provide yet another opportunity for the CH-47 or even the Huey with ED's assistance to pick up for extract. There is a lot of good material out there on the equipment they use and I am sure a lot of subject matter experts that would be willing to assist with the authenticity of its implementation.
  20. Well it’s 12 km head in against MiG-21, which is pretty small and one medium size engine. It’s more like an upscaled R-73 sensor, the R-60 uses same type of sensor as AIM-9B just better. The R-73 and KOLS use a cross type sensor that is much more flare resistant, and while R-73 sensor is a single sensor, the KOLS has 14 separate PbSe sensors, 4 in a cross and 10 in a line, and the cross ones spins at like 3000 rpm for accuracy Against side and tail aspect fighters in DCS, which seems to be pretty much in the ball park (can’t lock F-16 until within 10 km, worse then manual statement), I often get 35-45 km in DCS. So we’ll see. It’s also exciting that we’ll be able to turn up or down the gain, might help acquire someone at long range with a clear background.
  21. I did, according ED themselves, per december 2018, all new agreements after the Hawk are subject to the 'new' rules concerning sourcecode/files I can't think of one logical reason ED is unwilling to divulge this basic information if module agreements are pre- or post Hawk, as the latter should be equal for all 3rd parties across the board At least no reason that does not impact the validity of the message ED posted about the contractual way forward after that debacle I'm sorry, that's a political non-statement, as this does not elaborate if these contracts have the Post-Hawk stipulation in them
  22. Yeah, and only missing radar mode is SP which even domestic models were made without sure third batch. Radar, TP, CC, Helm, Opt, Fi0, toss, 6 modes!! Every manual I have read fire all the sub variants sure identical radar range
  23. No worries. I'll check it and if theres problems I'll make the updates available ahead of the usual DCS update schedule.
  24. Yea, after checking my loadout, I had forgotten that the targeting pod was installed, that seemed to throw things out of wack. It wasn't really bad, but enough that it was a pain in the butt when not in AP. Thanks for the help @Scotch75!
  25. Hi, since long time I came back a little to this nice SU-25T. I was doing the startup training. And immediately on my first rolling I got a very unpleasant wobbeling. I guess it's meant to simulate the ground affecting the aircraft. However, it's really extreme. It feals like a very hard jitter, giving me a fast headake. I have no real "experiance" with real jets of course. The only thing mabe going into this direction was a flight with a very small helicopter. It shook and trembled violently. But only the whole aircraft - with me a little bit - NOT the world arround me looking outside. Maybe the effect of the SU-25T could be reduced to the aircraft if really needed, but not on the outside. Regards
  26. Look at the sample section in Library ( https://github.com/vradarserver/cduhub/tree/main ), it's quite clear on how to use the Mcdu object. Pb might be that changing the PID to the PFP3N is not enough to make things work. I tried this very quickly to test my "working code" with a 777 cdu WW ( change ) 0xBB36 pid ( MCDU ) to 0xBB37 ( pid of the 777 ) but nothing showed. My 1st guess is that the "init sequence is different and though do not work on different devices" My code is still a big mess ( wip ) , not organized. But the good news is - it displays pages with a decent char mapping ( and default font of the mcdu i think ). - uses Leds to show Master Caution / NWS / Canopy / Gun Ready Keybindings are to be made in DCS ( which is annoying, but flexible and need no extra code ) . To conclude - I'll share the code ASAP but i'm afraid it won't help you cause it's high level. PS. I agree , there's some black magic in the cdu driving part .
