Did you came up with any solution to 3d model encryption? Like update to the viewer or something? I really want to buy this and make some skins

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
ex81 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
Folks, thr corsair is a challenge, that is true. And turning on the ground is far away from being easy. particularly when you want it to turn 180 . You need a whole lot of power to make it move and turn. I fly without pedals and have left and right brake bind to my keyboard. That makes it even harder to do. But at least it is doable and take off and landing work as expected. IT is early access and we have to be patient even if we don`t like it. What makes me struggle, is the engine killing in the middle of a flight. Some of you may find it good because of reality. I don`t. This Enumeration could go on and on. To make it a satisfactory modul, there is a whole lot of work to do. After all: I flight it daily. -
Current status of my Crystal Super. Note: Construction time of the Chinese Long March rocket is currently 7 months. Pimax will beat this.

If you don’t feel like deep-diving into the actual manuals, try this for quick reference: 1. Know the engine limitations: You can find them in my kneeboards here. Set your MP and RPM accordingly. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3345803/ 2. Keep cylinder head temperatures below red line: Cooling for this is controlled with the cowl flaps. 3. Keep the oil temperature below the red line. Cooling for this is controlled by the oil cooler flaps. 4. Wait until your thick-sludgy oil reaches 40C and thins out before going above 1000 RPM after startup. 5. If you end up turning the blower on (above 5-6 thousand feet!) then cooling for that is with the intercooler flaps. 6. Keep a good scan of your instruments, always watching the temperatures.

Reinstall mbucchia QV and uncheck QV in PP. And yes, QV in PP overrides mbucchisa's QV.

no need to swap anything anymore, just use autoexec.cfg to select DLSS profile. Also I'd recommend to exclude MFDs from DLSS processing in the same file.

Finally, things are picking up speed! What you see in the introductory video is SO exciting for the Mig-29!

Sounds like you need some instruction on aircraft dynamics during approach. When you are trimmed On-Speed (correct AOA) for approach in level flight, the following governs your success. 1. power controls rate of climb and descent 2. Pitch controls speed. 3. Use DLC (Direct Lift Control) to fine tune your touchdown point in-close. When properly flown, an approach uses power to control the rate of climb/descent. The aircraft will maintain the On-Speed AOA throughout as long as the power applications are smooth and you're NOT applying pitch inputs on the stick. Don't touch the trim at this point. If you are high, reduce power. If you are low, increase power. Also remember that if you need to increase or reduce power, do it in small amounts and be prepared to reverse the power inputs to prevent overshooting the desired result. The use of DLC will help in making pinpoint landings. It doesn't take long to get used to it and allows you to change your rate of climb/descent momentarily without changing the power settings. Set up a flight and just do some slow flying to work through these techniques. Assign DLC to buttons on your control stick or throttle, or just use the keyboard (much harder). Start by trying to fly level, trimmed On-Speed (correct AOA) for approach(AOA indexer O lit up) and DLC on. Turning on DLC will give you a mild pitch down that will require nose up trim. Now that you're stable, start reducing power in small amounts to increase rate-of-descent. Now apply some power to reduce the rate-of-descent. Once mastered you can pinpoint the rate-of-descent you desire and keep it steady there. Use DLC in small amounts to fine-tune your approach in-close. DLC switch forward increases descent and DLC switch aft decreases descent. I highly recommend you start out by reading Chuck's Guide on the Tomcat as it provides a lot of insight into flying and operating the jet. https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/f-14b Regards, John

F-14B Afterburner Problem with DCS 2.9.6.57650

That will be a waste of time. Just perform a full repair, and rename the DCS folder under your saved games, and your DCS is back to vanilla. Cheers! -

No need to apologise! This is what the forums are about. The easy comms settings are enabled by default, and that can catch people off guard. Never tried to enforce on it in a mission though. Only off! Cheers! -

You need to turn it off. Apologies if I wasn't clear. But you have to turn the historical filter off. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -

It is stated in the FAQ (Q2) that not all the units will be transferred to DCS Core. Those that will be, will be done over time. Thanks, I tried it. I added the CH mods again, and hey presto, other modules are appearing. The mods end with CH-T90M, and the ones with the update are T-90M CH. I noticed that it's only for WWII CH. That's not really what I want. I thought there would also be modules from the 80s from the USA, Great Britain, China, Norway, Sweden, Russia, and Germany with their Iris T, Fuchs, and Frigate—basically, the stuff that's also available in CH mods. -
Interesting. Which systems can fail via the random failures in F-16? I know about ME failures not being available on F-16, which is a shame.

The F4U-1 without ADI had a top speed of just at 400mph TAS at critical altitude. With the addition of ADI the later F4U-1As and retrofit earlier models reached about 425mph at the upper end. The F4U-1D and C lost about 5-10mph because of increased drag from the knuckle pylons.

What helicopter(s) in DCS can facilitate it? CH-47?
