  2. Maybe, and if its not for him, thats totally fine. But I now some, including myself who did not now what they were missing. So I wave the sign, just as I do for VR, but its just a hint.

  4. I get your point, and I'm not trying to be rude or inflammatory. I want it fixed. I want the product I purchased to live up to the fidelity level we've come to expect from DCS. Currently it doesn't. I'm willing to help that process, but it's maddening to put hours of effort into testing, only to have someone else chime in half-cocked that everything is hunky-dory. Your comment summarized is "Did you consider the nuances of aviation airspeed?". And the answer here and in other similar threads is yes. The nuances of of true versus indicated and knot versus miles per hour were calculated, and it's still coming in slow. My grievance isn't with you individually, it's DCS forums thing. No matter how much data you provide, there's always contingency who argue in the contrary. Almost like disagreeing for the disagreeing's sake. And it results in the inability to even substantiate something is a bug, like where we are with the F4u. This hasn't even been acknowledged as a bug yet.
  5. Does this imply that buddy-lasing for another type from a Ka-50 is actually working nowadays?

The only 9.12A Warsaw pact export variant in inventory of Serbian Air Force and Air Defense. Donated in 2017 and was one of the last operational MiG-29A in Europe, if not the last. Short lived, btw. It was upgraded not long after donation to SM+ standard. Serbian serial designation number: 18151.
  7. Updated to this earlier, Rock steady 90fps.... however the image was full of swirls except for around the centre?? There was no stuttering that I could see Any ideas for settings to counter the swirls please? regards
  8. Thank you for the purchase. Please remember any images or videos shown are from dev versions and are work in progress.
  9. Thanks @quantum97! Cool mirrors but the reflections are still very wrong as we can see in the dev images: Bought anyway, on ED shop, as always
  10. For me it was a double bind of the Salute action. When the pilot model is doing the the salute animation, control input is temporarily blocked.
  11. UPDATE v1.1 Hello guys, new update is up. The cockpit model was redone — most parts rebuilt from the ground up and retextured. The exterior also got some fixes: corrected damage model (no more parts showing when they shouldn’t after damage), added bort number on the front landing gear, boarding ladder, and intake covers for parked/static aircraft.Flight model was adjusted to remove the unrealistic supercruise. Smaller tweaks include engine sound update. Unfortunately for now fabric cover doesn't work as it should on parked (not static) aircraft with open canopy clipping through it, so it was removed until it could be added properly in the future.
  12. question, can EW function in this script defeat SAMS in High Digit Sam mod such as upgraded S-300 and S-400? this one https://github.com/dcs-sams/HighDigitSAMs-Ultimate-Compilation
  13. Something might have happened after the last patch. I'll have to check it out because this option 100% worked here. Also, it's worth disabling any other mods. Sometimes they can break things when it comes to the AI too. Try again, and if there's a problem, just "skip" the mission.
  14. Понятно.. как и было! Одно сделают - попутно рабочее другое ломается
  15. Today
  16. I put it here for you, we have independent mirrors and a nice parachute. DCS_MiG29_Mirrors_1.mp4 DCS_MiG29_Mirrors_2.mp4 DCS_MiG-29A_Drogue_chute.mp4
  17. I paid 5 EUR less on DCS standalone. Always buy first hand. Standalone gives you miles program. For example: when you pre-order mig-29A with price 55.99USD you will get 5.59 USD worth of discount for any other purchase. Updates are received before Steam, better discounts, a bit cheaper modules. Nothing is better on Steam, speaking of DCS.
  18. What engine does the present day F4U-1D use? (the one you flew) Most restored F4Us do not use the -8W. what octane/fuel grade was it using?
  19. Download dedicated server and run missions from tjere. The tracks still breaks, but they work 80%, 80% of the time. You'll need to set off another 200+ gigs to run the dedicated server.
  20. Remove mods, repair and clean DCS. If still bugged - upload a track and dcs.log files.
  21. Still can't see. Links require Discord verification.
  22. Maybe for EURs tax is included but still that does not explain why in some countries prices are cheaper even after tax. Edit: To put it mildly, I am really upset. I think I will switch to standalone. It will be better for me and ED. I will pay less and they will get more.
  23. How do you know their "role"? You can only see anonymous likes under posts. Or maybe it's really that most players do appreciate DCS for what it is and just play instead? I'm not saying all is perfect but some of you seem to be of opinion that nothing works here and one just sctraches their head: what are you still doing here? OP should have just posted a track and move on but no... another rant. It's ok if it helps you to vent off but just don't think you'll change something. I may not like it either but DCS is business and it answers most of your questions. You decide if it's worth of your money. There's no public tracker and you can't know if something was reported or not. They don't tag or respond to every thread. Apps can only know what CPUs are available to them and DCS uses them accordingly assigning its threads. It's the system's job to use resources properly. This was always the case that you can set nvidia settings and game setting independently. For any game/app. You can select spot using the spawn stacking and knowing the spawn order on the deck. ACLS is working last time I checked, at least in the Tomcat. Deck crew has no hit box - on purpose. SC is made first and foremost with player/combat missions in mind. Unfortunately not suitable for real CQ or CO in mind. It's a good and frequently raised wish though.
  24. Thank you all for your input, I decided to go DIY route and found a collective base and a Kiowa grip that suited my plan. The collective base is from the well known Rato's design found on printables.com. It was printed as offered, I just adapted the controller plate as it was designed for the blue pill but rather preferred to use a Leo Bodnar or even the GVL224 that goes with the hall sensor designed for this hardware (also from GVL224) The design is great, well done and relatively easy to print (I printed this SLA) one small issue with inserts holes being just a bit too large and inserts not gripping as they should. but it may be my prints. The same author offers a Apache Grip to go alongside its base but flying the apache sounds way too complicated for now so I wanted something more simple for a Kiowa which I found on Cults3D for a very small fee. Again the SLA printing process was not overly complicated. I just had a few issues with the thread size (as always with 3D printing) but I'll blame my inexperience in the 3D printing field. The grip in the process of being populated with a mix of real switches and 3D printed ones. A 25mm tube connects the base and the grip and I added a motorcycle damper to try to overcome the weight of the grip. Unfortunately the collective does not stay up only with the damper (although it's set at the highest resistance) and it slowly moves back to its resting position. https://youtu.be/yDFkxhw-dSc I need to fix this friction issue first as you really can't use a collective that constantly lowers the angle of the blades can we? If you guys have any idea on how to fix this, don't hesitate to let me know Many thanks
  25. HI @omnijinx You will appreciate this Campaign was created about 4 years ago and since then many many thousands of pilots have flown it without this issue. It is the first time we have come across it. Having checked it, the problem is to do with a zone recognising the presence of the AGM 88C, it appears over the years the speed at which the Sim recognises missiles in zone appears to have adjusted, so, have had to adjust the zone to suit. We used zone missile detection rather than units death to account for missile inaccuracies which occur from time to time in updates. Have now also included unit death as check now. The reason your wing was hit is because you flew too close to the SA6 site before turning so they fired on you. Your wing followed you in and was the unlucky one that got hit rather than you. This had no impact on the fail as the wing was immune. Always have to make AI immune as they can not be trusted to remain alive. So mission has been updated with the fix and has been issued to ED and hopefully will be in next update. Thanks for the heads up
  26. This is from my Steam.
  27. I agree with all the above. While true that control setup and stick length will play a role in how the aircraft feels, it just doesn’t feel right (to me). I just tried one after each other a few dcs warbirds, P47, P51, bf109, Mosquito etc. and none of them is as twitchy as the Corsair, particularly in pitch… Just try to do the same, same joystick different modules, the Corsair is objectively more twitchy. However twitchiness is only part of the issue; thing is the flight model seems a bit artificial, it doesn’t give me that nice feeling of a heavy bird floating in the air, I can’t really feel it’s mass and inertia…I know it’s a flight sim and comes with limitations but the other modules do a better job in replicating that feeling. And I hope they’ll fix ground handling asap as currently you can’t even taxi to the runway if there’s x-wind.
