PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!
AlpineGTA replied to proxlamus's topic in Virtual Reality
I posted my experience in an other thread last year: I ended up sending the PSVR2 back. I just couldn't get rid of the stutters. I summed up the advantages of my G2 as: Prefer not having to use Steam VR, Integrated speakers, no mura, sharper image, smoother and better comfort. However, now that the PSVR2 has eye tracking I am thinking of picking up another PSVR2 and giving it another try. Those OLED panels really are great when flying at night, there's really nothing like it available at the same price. The G2 is horribly grey compared, as too are many other more expensive headsets, I would imagine. I'm just still not sure that my CPU has enough muscle for eye tracking and quad views, to give me that stutter free experience that others are reporting. -
The answers found there are from us, thanks.

Hi @BunnyKeeper Glad your enjoying the campaign. There isn't an issue with the mission, Due to an intermittent bug I had to change the refuel so that you refuelled on the right and your wing will just follow you. This is because for some pilots when given the refuel command the wing would dive away and break the mission. Until I am sure this is fixed this is the best option. Once you have refuelled on the left side all you need to do is keep move away from the tanker and the mission will continue. This is explained at the beginning of the in the game brief in capitals "DUE TO CURRENT REFUEL BUG YOUR WING WILL NOT PLUG BUT STAY IN FORMATION. YOU NOW MUST PLUG ON LEFT BASKET UNTIL BUG FIXED." and in the radio text which you received when close to the tanker. "TWO, LEAD YOU TAKE PORT SIDE FOR PLUG AS USUAL. NOTE: DUE TO RECENT DCS REFUEL BUG YOU MUST REFUEL PORT SIDE AND YOUR WING WILL REMAIN IN FORMATION. MOVE AWAY FROM TANKER WHEN COMPLETE." Hope this helps Cheers Badger

hreich, This may sound simple but would like to confirm: Have you verified the position of each monitor in Windows prior to running DCS World? I have to manipulate 2 of my monitors from the Windows Display Settings before I start DCS. In my instance, two of my MFD display swap (e.g. Left MFD becomes Center MFD, Center MFD becomes Left MFD). Additionally, the arrangement & alignment of your monitors are unusual. Are you using an iPad to export 2 MFDs and another iPad to export the AMPCD (Center MFD)? Is the resolution of Monitor 3 2048x1536? The alignment of Monitor 3 is not aligned to the left margin of monitors 1 & 4. Could you share a screenshot of your monitor setup from Windows Display Settings? Is it possible to change the resolution on Monitor 3 to match the others (1920x1080)? Then it could be placed below Monitor 2 and provide good alignment. What is the resolution that DCS sees? How is your monitor configuration file setup? Here is my example: Monitor 1 is the main viewport (2560x1440). Monitors 2 - 4 are small 800x600 monitors that are used for Left MFD (#2), Right, MFD (#3), and Center MFD (#4). I have to swap monitor 2 & 4 to correspond the displays to the Cougar MFD panels. In my example, DCS sees a resolution of 4960 x 1440. DCS will generate objects in the invisible portion (below monitors 2 - 4) but I will never see it. I have specific coordinates in my monitor config file to prevent DCS from showing objects below monitors 2 - 4.

We are pleased to announce that our team has successfully fulfilled 95% of the orders for the Crystal Super 50 PPD model. Production continues at a steady pace to address the remaining orders. Customers who have pre-ordered the 50 PPD model are advised to check their inboxes, as we are sending out emails to verify shipping addresses before the headsets are dispatched. For the 57 PPD and Ultrawide models, we can confirm that the component shortages which led to an earlier delay have been fully resolved with our partners. We are now working to accelerate production and catch up on the schedule. 57 PPD A batch of 57PPD headsets has already been scheduled for our users, and more are on the way. You'll first get an update that your headset is produced, then another one when it has been quality checked and shipped out. Please hang on. You may review the impressions and feedback from VR Flight Sim Guy and Martin (Sweviver) via the following videos: Ultrawide Regarding the Ultrawide model, production is now fully underway, and these units are scheduled for a second inspection before shipment arrangements are finalized. This communication serves as our most recent production timeline for the 57 PPD and Ultrawide models.

Very interesting.... I noticed several Pimax systems running continuously in task manager and wondered why so many.

I did see Baltic Dragon flying the C-130J and I think someone was filming, but it was probably for that person's YouTube channel, not Baltic's or ED's. There was also someone from ED there with Baltic, I forget his name, but he wasn't really there to represent as much as to be on hand. Expo was 90% racing, 7% flight simming, and 3% VR, to give you an idea why there is not much footage for the flight sim side. There was only one flight sim cockpit, and that was the Airbus one. There were no other flight sim cockpits, only 1 rig. All the other flight sims were tabletop with HOTAS. And yes, the C-130J was in an area like a LAN party, but that was OK. I myself probably would have filmed more, but I had my son in tow and had to keep an eye on him which wouldn't make for good video footage. v6, boNes Baltic Dragon at 01:26:50!

Looking forward to official statement from ED (e.g. whitepaper) compared to unofficial AI content generated video.

I would love to see a Colorado map (especially), Canadian Rockies, or even a Texas and surrounding areas Map. Playing out alternate reality scenarios, future scenarios, 2nd US Civil War (hope not!), invasion from Mexico scenarios (think Red Dawn movie or Invasion America books). This would open up some really fun gameplay and content creation scenarios plus provide beautiful scenery to fly over.

Just to let you know the big s530's and 500kg low drag bombs and 4x bombs on fuselage, launched/dropped from wing stations or fuselage, consistently fail to drop in single or launch separately on the EE version, not tested on others. Saw that this was a bug noted in April in another thread and supposedly fixed? also noticed i could not get lazer bombs to track 6 times in a row with correct codes for drone also, but unsure if poor laser or drop angle at this time did try toss bombing them at a 60+ angle and the fell passed the drone and into ground between targets with no track?

Hehe I totally get your frustration. It's like all normal polite behavior, goes down the drain as soon as people set foot in the magically digital world called "internet". Just let it slide.. There's plenty of stuff in life worth getting agitated about, this isn't one of them.

mission 8 cannot finish?
baltic_dragon replied to MivwTaupos's topic in F/A-18C Raven One: Dominant Fury campaign
@MivwTaupos @s4lt3d do you have any 3rd party mods (unofficial ones) installed? Unless there is a major bug with AAR it seems to be something on your end, as we tried many missions with the beta testers and everything worked OK. There is a growing number of bugs that happen only to some players which we are unable to reproduce, which can be very frustrating for both sides... -
In my squadron we experienced this two or three times during touch and goes, but we did not find the cause of this.
-
For now I would treat the statements made in this AI generated video as unofficial. Until now we have now actual statements from ED. If indeed they came to such conclusions, then I am wondering they should explain how they made them. On top of it I would expect, is possible able to replicate IRL scenarios with consistent results.

Appreciate this feedback! Will double check the last mission again. Many thanks!

Yup! They couldnt even test how it would perform against active missiles. And its not like modern RWRs are amazing in this regard, they can give you seconds of warning time at the best of times. Seems like there is a specific SARH warning, but this isnt completely reliable either: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2025-07-12/ Tbh I think its pretty cool to have this kind of detail modelled. Already like the attention of detail in the F4, and looks like ED is also stepping it up!

Incorrect target coordinates given for Mission #1
baltic_dragon replied to MnMailman's topic in Bugs and Problems
The offset was bugged at some point, but I think it should be working fine now... -
Sorry up front, I forgot to save the track file But perhaps anyone else had this issue, perhaps it is a known problem in the F-4 (feature), or maybe even a known bug? I was doing some training touch-and-gos the other day at Ramstein AB. I was properly in the flow and Jester praised me every single time But.. After my 4th touch-and-go, I couldn't raise my landing gear. I was able to flip the landing gear lever, but nothing happened. I tried landing and taking off again, but still it stayed down. Any ideas on what might have caused this? I can imagine something like this could happen after a hard landing, but they were all pretty smooth (really, you can ask Jester)

@OmasRachE we checked the mission recently and it worked well. I don't think frequencies could change anything as all flights push at a given time... but if you have any 3rd party mods installed (unofficial ones), run Viacom or Voice Attack it is likely having impact on the AI behavior on your side.. could that be the case?
