hello. are you able to ask any other participants of the server with the problems? logically, it seems like a server problem. perhaps there a lot of backend scripts loading you are not aware of. you can also post DCS.LOG from a session that takes a long time. -
So then it will make you smile hearing that the next version of the RC2.1. is more printer friendly than the older ones ...

Feel you. After my short Trial with the Pimax Crystal LIght (not okay for me) it's back to the G2 and the saying of never change a running System is right. My Cable is also on the Edge after the new install. Picture is okay for now but no Passthrough. Luckely i have a new Cable at Home. Bought it from Amazon Germany in December. Now it's not available anymore. -
With flaps you are shifting the center of pressure and decreasing the lift, so both can happen simultaniously. Shifting the center of pressure will result in a different moment around the CoG and that in turn, in combination with the design of the wing and tailplane, will dictate how the aircraft will pitch, while the loss of lift will result in sinking/less climb. This is just a matter of normal aircraft physics/how it is designed. Even a Cessna reacts with a bit of pitch when operating flaps.

This is something that has to be fixed in a mission, and it's fixed by tediously blocking parking spots to make you spawn in a place where you'd get directed to an unblocked cat. Each parking spot only has a single cat to which the directors will send aircraft. If that happens to be blocked, they don't care. -

I don't think I've ever seen a high fidelity sim do a proper Zero. There was exactly one that did anything near PTO, and that was way back. Japanese aircraft are noted to be hard to get documentation for (Imperial Japan having destroyed much of it at the end of WWII), so that will probably be the first time anyone has seriously attempted such a thing. Epic indeed. Worth noting that as far as '44 ETO goes, some aircraft would be shared between that and PTO, especially if we got multiple versions. The P-38 is a good example. -

Why does the aircraft pitch up when I retract the flaps? My experience is limited to small Cessnas and flight sims, but normally retracting flaps causes loss of lift and the aircraft sinks as a result. Is this a peculiarity of the Corsair?

I’ve yet to see more than low 50GBs of use in DCS, and that’s whilst in VR, running a number of other Apps such as Simshaker, Tacview. So right now, more is probably overkill. If you don’t have an infinite budget, it’s probably more important to get a good CPU (9800x3d), PCI Gen5 drive, low latency RAM, a good GPU and then spend some time to optimise settings. Having said that, if I were planning a new build, I’d certainly consider grabbing 128GB, “just in case”.

Salute Description: When going multi-crew using the seat switch keys moves the owner of the aircraft, not me. When I joined my squad mate in his helicopter as the mini-gunner, I then tried to move from the gun to Instructor position via a mapped key. Upon pressing my #2 key (to move to position 2), the pilot (my squad mate) was moved into the instructor position instead of me. I could not move. By me pressing #1 (for pilot position) moved him back. DCS Version: Not posting from gaming PC but did this last night so as at 4th August 2025 Steam: God No! Map: Caucuses SP/MP: Issue in Multi-player / Multi-Crew only. In Multi-player / Single occupancy the seat switch works fine, I can jump around the positions, no problem. Reproducible: Yes. My squad mate swapped with me. I spawned in (via Dynamic Spawn), he then joined my helicopter. He used his seat switch buttons and I was moved. Step to Reproduce: Player A takes helicopter. Player B requests to join Player A helicopter. Player A accepts request to join. Player B, once in tries to move seats. Player A is moved. Screenshot/Video available: N/A Track Available: N/A Mission File: N/A Controllers: N/A OS: Windows 11 RAM: N/A GPU: N/A Mods: I have English cockpit, my squad mate did not. Any Additional Information: None

I did think that “throttle” was usually an axis option in multi-engine aircraft? By that, I mean a single axis, against “throttle left” and “throttle right”. -
