Писал уже в западной ветке в разделе багов ГС3, но еще продублирую сюда. Самолет МиГ-29С обстрел цели с помощью Р-77 что в режиме ОЦ или СНП2. Производится жесткий захват цели что в первом режиме что во втором. И конечно же о пуске знает противник. Однако в реальности это так не работает. Так как для наведения Р-77 не требует постоянный "под свет" цели. Более того она с постоянным "под светом" и не работает. Все наведение осуществляется только в СНП режиме что в режиме сопровождения одиночной цели что двух. Противник должен узнать о пуске только после того как активируется ГСН ракеты

My Pimax Crystal Super is buttery smooth at its full resolution, though with eye tracking and Quadviews activated. But because the eye tracking is so darn good, it´s increadibly clear and super smooth. Usually I am between 80-90 fps, but I have locked it to 72 to have some headsroom and keep it stable and avoid stutter. Why people have issues - I don´t know. I see some of them use task manager to change priorities for the CPU, others use special programs to choose which core does what in DCS and Windows and Pimax Play ... I have not done that at all. No changes in windows. Game Mode ON probably. Not sure. HAGS ON, GameBar ON, Everything is at stock setup for Windows 11 and in the Bios too. No overclocking either. I have AMD 9950X3D, RTX 5090, 64Gigs of RAM @6000Mhz speed. ALSO - this is on a new machine with a totally clean install of Windows 11. No Open XR Toolkit either. I am using mbucchias quadviews with its companion app to set quadviews settings, and have not activated Pimax Play Quadviews because of that. Can´t have both. I think that my clean Windows 11, with no other headset installs before this one, keeping everything as they are supposed to be (besides using the external quadviews install and its companion app) --- makes it stable, crystal clear and smooth. It is possible.

I tried an ILS approach on Bardufoss RWY28 following the IFR charts that come default with the map. The localizer was showing way right when I was lined up on the runway. The IFR chart doesn't seem to indicate an offset, and if I tried to fly the localizer as indicated I would hit that small hill that's about a kilometer east of the field. Anyone else noticed this?

Germany and Marianas are the maps ...thats all. Everything else is good..

I would do it, but I do not know the source code. What exactly the input data is and so on. Maybe I should ask in the modding section, if there is anything available.

If you don't have one you should get a jetseat or equivalent of it. That's gonna leap you on another level of immersion. And i still enjoy VR with a much worse setup than you have. Still with minimum settings it's so much more enjoyable than a flight on the screen with more bells and whistles.

No RCAF? Once again the sadness takes hold.

That sounds like an really aswesome mission & heck a lot of fun flying !! The whole cold-war era and the tensions in the Fulda Gap is very fascinating! Im currently learning the CH-47 Fox, it is a blast flying helicopter on Contention in VR. Im having really fun dropping down Bradleys near enemy positions, then jumping in as Tactical Commander (still in VR) blasting enemy airfields with the autocanon from the IFV

That's good news. I used the reverbg2 with open xr on dcs. I also blocked al updates on windows. What do i have to do now so that the reverb will continue working. Can i start by updating my windows version? What excatually do i need to install and do i have to do some changes in dcs greatings wct24

The fact is that in the game, when attacking two targets, the radar continues to guide them in STT mode and warns them about launching at the enemy until the missile head is activated. This should not be the case. The R-77 cannot be conducted in STT, only in TWS

I did so right from the beginning and could not get used to 2d. First I played with the old Oculus CV1 which was a pain in the §$% in regards of reading anything on the displays. It was just impossible. This and the fact, that I had a realy hard time to lern the Hornet without any help made me abandon DCS for years. But one day I got back to the Cockpit and I don´t remember why I did but the stunning feeling was back and I wanted to get into it again. I then joined a virtual squadron and bought a new Quest 3 shortly after. From there on it was a total new experience and I´m sucking in every bit of information and skill I can like an addict. Yersterday we did a training flight on CW Germany with 4 Phantoms. A low level route in trail formation with one simulated attack, an INS fix underway and a training bomb deployment on Baumholder range. It was purely amazing! This map in this bird, low level in VR is totally insane.

"Relatively smooth". This is the best we get? I have just put on my quest 3 again and it is buttery smooth. Night and Day. I won't settle for "relatively smooth" on a 1800$ headset. This is very disappointing tbh.

Hey everyone, I know that this is most likely not a campaign issue but I wanted to post it here to figure out, if someone else had this problem, or maybe someone can tell me if I´m doing something wrong. Yesterday I played Mission 9. Everything went smooth, I was tally on the target area and slewed the TGP to my assigned target. I made a point track and then bumbed the DMS to the left and made the Mav SOI. Normally I would expect, that I can slew the maverick while pressing TDC but I couldnt. The Mav was uncaged and roughly pointet towords the target but was not on it and did not get a lock. I tried cykling the Mav to caged and back uncaged. I only pressed TDC short, tried to slew without TDC depress and also tried to go back to the TGP break the lock, go over the Target, pressing TDC and back to the mav. I could not slew the Mav regardless of what I was trying. The distance didn´t play any role, since it didn´t work until i was right over the target and also very low to ensure staying in the keyhole. Nearly got shot and after my third attempt the lead did the only right thing and sent Devil 4 to do the job. Great campaign design by the way but also a little disappointing for me. Am I missing something obvious or what is going on here?

In the Mirage F1 other airplanes can see if we are friend or foe when setting the IFF, but we can't identify other aircrafts. There is no interrogation by itself. So, the 'AWACS Declare' is the only way to know if the target is friend of enemy, depending on the circumstances.
