F4U - Autostart can’t be mapped to button
gdx65 replied to Spidey002's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs - General
No still not fixed but solved in here. I posted the same question. You have to edit the LUA file Every time DCS update you have to re-edit the LUA file.... -

Just tried it again - landed with 4,500 lbs of fuel, opened the AR door immediately after landing, taxied to parking spot, rearm and refuel with center tank connected still, 8,600lbs of fuel total. Still not completely full for some reason. I'm on the Falklands, if that matters. ahhh thank you so much, appreciate the help. If I remove them, will it remove them from the posts/comments I've already made on the threads? (im not sure what its called, forgive my ignorance)

DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
YoYo replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Hi! Thanks for another update. I also see that other elements are coming along very well, and many details have appeared on the model itself, including those related to ground crew. Great, congratulations! The model is starting to look really great, and many third-party devs would certainly be proud of it in their first steps. Unfortunately, the front landing gear legs aren't quite where they should be. There are some issues noted in the posts above, but not only that. Here's the original photo, which shows the layout perfectly from the side. And analysis (the fuselage size has been adjusted to the photo): 1/ The angle of the support in the model is too great (too forward). It's actually there, but not to that extent. I assume this isn't a distorted screenshot in terms of the overall angle of the shot, but that's what it looks like here. The wheel bracket itself is now at a good angle, thanks! 2/ The wheel bracket should have one more element at the top, as already mentioned above. 3/ The model still sits too low. I suspect the main support (the one marked 1) is still too short. Since the size of the aircraft in the screenshot and the photo is the same, there's too much difference. Yes, the model in the photo probably isn't as heavily loaded with weapons and is lighter, but the shock absorber deflection isn't as great in real life. I suggest lengthening the components. You can see that the "strut leg" is pressed too tightly into the fuselage in the model. It may also be a matter of angle, too forward, but I also think it is a matter of length. It's also worth checking the model in the screenshot with just a full interiors tanks + 2 external tanks. What does the deflection and shock absorption look like here? I hope I've helped. Sorry for being a pain But the Su-22M4 has a rather distinctive silhouette, especially for us, who grew up with it for years. Thanks for all the corrections, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! -
Front seat Radar horizon line Adjustment and wings level indication
Stickler replied to IvanK's topic in Bugs & Problems
While it may be true that the lack of coincidence of the markings is an issue in the real F-4 as well (I don't have a real aircraft immediately available I could use to check), it is certainly not a parallax issue. Regardless of head position, the "zero" elevation mark of the radar symbology is always at the same 1-2° positive elevation scale position. On the contrary, in the rear seat, the misalignment can be eliminated with an appropriate head position. -
The Zero deserves a better announcement
Silver_Dragon replied to jeventy26's topic in DCS: A6M5B Zero
The 2024/2025 and Beyond video, made by ED, the AI zero and others PTO units as the USS Enterprise and CA Mogami was confimed made by ED from january 2024, no M3. The F4U release video was made by ED, no M3 and use the shame AI PTO units as the "zero" IA. -

Hello, I know this has been reverted but please could someone TLDR why you would use this over 'assert' ? -
I'm really sorry for the delay, but I'm getting less and less time at the moment. That said, I think I've found the solution. I think it's more important to get much more AI aircraft and units into DCS World. We have plenty of flyable aircraft. But that's perhaps another discussion

You have to go to your profile and then attachments and delete unwanted/unused attachments to free some space again.

I just did it a second ago. Landed with center tank attached. 6,800lbs of fuel left yet. Opened AR door, called for refuel, center tank still attached, 7,300lbs of fuel. Unless it takes more time to depressurize the tank. I do it right before rearming. Unless it takes more time then I will start opening the AR door as soon as I land and start taxiing to a parking spot. Let me give that a try quick.

Still cannot get rid of blur looking to the sides, Pimax Super
Marshallman replied to Marshallman's topic in Pimax
OK I have just update the Nvidia driver, which adds another factor. Monty tried 300fps, then back to 120 fps and back at 72hz more stutters than at 90.... Just went online on the Mayhem server(4Ya UK aerobatics) and no stutters to 45 degrees from forwards, however beyond that quite a few. Out for the evening now, will pick up tomorrow.. Suggestions welcome. -

@JSF_Aggie Absolutely fantastic work by you and your son! I'm incredibly jealous of your son's fusion 360 skills (something I'm working on myself). As a fellow SimFab owner, I would absolutely love to recreate what you've done here...particularly the pedestal portion of the setup as I will be using a touchscreen monitor and Helios to replicate a number of different aircraft. Is there any chance that you and your son would be willing to share your design plans so that I could replicate what you've done? That said, thank you so much for sharing your work. I always appreciate seeing the hard work and creativity of others in this community. Best of luck to him at college this fall!

Aerial torpedoes has implemented and working on Ju-88T AI unit from some years ago, the problem has talked, the associated funtionality, but a very missing weapon on DCS has none Depth charge / antisubmarine weapons. ED has planned by the PTO Assets pack some capable torpedo carriers: TBF “Avenger” (Mk-13 torpedoes and DC missing). PBY “Catalina” (Mk-13 and Mk-24 Fido torpedoes, retroboms and DC missing). B6N “Jill” (Type 91 torpedoe missing).

Deck Crew AI directing me on to blocked cat.
Rolds replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in Bugs and Problems
Does it not work with the supercarriers or maybe I just don’t know how to do it anymore? I was using CVN 72, taxied into position, lowered the launcher, pressed the bind which I think was U, but nothing happened. -
