  1. Past hour
  2. sorry, no news from ED and we recently asked progress in that jira and see if we can get update from ED
  3. Have similar issue, but switching to 60 fps and then back again to 90 fps seems to fix it for me.. As per the uploaded screenshot jog link. DCS itself does not show in the list of applications under video>per application settings. Do I need to add DCS somehow to this list, or do I use one of those existing apps to set the settings which will apply to DCS? Also, is it possible to use some kind of foveated rendering, similar to what we were able to to with openXR toolkit? null
  4. Look at my report regarding tracking…
  5. No shut downs on my side… Keep fingers crossed it stays that way!
  6. There are a few things I can see. First, the DCS environment is nearly 20 % too small. Buildings and Cars are too small. Second, the DCS IPD change only the Cockpit scale and does nothing for the World scale.
  7. Ещё месяц назад ты говорил, что ушли мол разработчики с форума и ушли. И ничего мол особенного. А теперь вот как оказалось.
  8. Unfortunately bird-slicer / knife-IFF antennas front of the cockpit and spine large UHF antenna are missing. (29AM) You should also edit/reset/fix normals ( primarily on the right side upper/lower intake covers - what causing dark+strange/unnatural lights/shades - polygons got light from improper direction ) Try Edit Normals modifier (unify/reset/flip) or Smooth /Weighted Normals - reset Xform sometimes also helps TY

  10. Not gonna happen, ED stated more than once. Its a ethical thing if i remember correctly. Nevertheless, at least dummys would be nice to have. A Impact of these could just end the mission.
  11. https://magnitude-3.com/2022/06/01/2022-summer-update/ Wishing to fulfill our promise to overhaul the MiG-21bis, we have began preparations for this massive undertaking. Once the Corsair is released and completed, we will be able to give it all the needed attention. In recent months we have expanded our library, which now comprises twice as many manuals and technical documents as it originally did. This will allow us to simulate some of the systems in a manner not possible at a time the module was released. Furthermore, our head of the research department has taken a few trips to the museums in Poland and Germany to gather a large collection of pictures of the MiG-21s, with an intention to use them for recreation of the 3d model and textures through photogrammetry. There is no question, that in order to provide the best visual quality, we need to take advantage of all newest technologies. This technologies in turn give us an opportunity to turn things that were previously impossible, into a reality. Straight from the devs. Corsair is out. All we can do is wait, now.
  12. Waiting on Pimax to get me my new headset to get back on DCS , but this is the first thing I'm going when I get there.
  13. Interesting!
  14. I could crash servers with it back in the day. I bet I still could.
  15. Once airborne, I have the cowl flaps almost closed. Juuuust a crack open. Oil cooler is something between 25–33 all the time. However, I monitor the Temps closely and when they start to move closely to the end of the blue, I adjust accordingly. Keep in mind, that if you fly higher and use the supercharger, you need to open the intercooler, too. When you get in for landing and Airspeed drops significantly. you need to open the coolers wider, especially the cowl flaps. You can cease the engine even on roll-out.
  16. Today
  17. If you really expected any kind of reaction or positive answer from him on the MiG-21, it might be very well you who is high
  18. Это явно какой-то косяк. Игра одна.
  19. Any update to this question? All of my DCS modules have automatically added the icon/profile for the dynamic vibration motor in the winwing Orion2 F-16 joystick for simmapro. Everywhere I've looked online this is the only post I've seen about this. If anyone has found any answers please reply and thanks in advance. I've been waiting for this profile icon to appear at every latest simmapro update.
  20. This video talks abou the lights in the P-47. Regarding the instruments lights, they work as fluorescent lights. You set them to start, in order to send a high voltage pulse to the UV ligths, then you set them to the middle and or DIM position. You don't keep them at the start position, only for a couple of seconds then move the knob out of that zone. If you keep the knob on the Start position, the UV lights filaments will blow and the lights won't work anymore.
  21. Starting off this isn't your fault, it's a default game behavior; and if you consider this request it would be time consuming. So the Apache in DCS automatically adds every unit(friendly & enemy) to it's coord page in the control measure category(CTRLM). Unless you use the Hidden on MFD option. Those friendly units like the bradleys and fuel trucks at the starting location are automatically taking CTRLM slots. Enemy positions scattered throughout the map are all filling in those slots as well. The apace only has 9 pages and those fill up quick with units auto populating. The problem: Most of the missions you receive clearwater's or a friendly grid location which would be ideal to add to as a CM(control measure) point that way it populates on the TSD map as a CM. But you would need to go into the CTRLM page and delete those auto populated units one by one which can get time consuming. And then most likely need to pause the game to check the message history for the grid as the message is gone by the time someone deletes a point. Something to consider. Most users might not know this or even how to use control measures, and just add clearwater as a new waypoint. Again not your fault, and totally understand if you don't want to do all that work.
  22. Prop planes tend to roll left while taking off. Large power engines, like those in the P-47, Spitfire, Mustang and Corsair will make the plane really roll to the left. I don't know your level of experience with flight sims, but the -47 is very different from your average Cessna. If you take a Cessna to take off, it will tend to roll left, but you compensate that with a little bit of right rudder. In trainer aircraft like a Cessna you can push full power for take off. It is docile and forgiving, it is a family car. On the other hand, think of WWII airplanes as sports cars, or even top fuel dragsters. You don't go full throttle on take off. If you do, the torque will be so high that a left roll during take off becomes irrecoverable. In the P-47, if you are "light", with only the main fuel tank full and machine guns ammunition, you do the following: 1) align with the runway 2) Prop pitch full forward 3) Press the brakes and bring manifold pressure to 30 inHg 4) Release the brakes and then slowly but surely bring the manifold to 46 inHg. That's it 5) as @kablamoman said, you accelerate in the runway and then let the plane take off by itself. No need to pull on the controls. However, be aware to input right rudder and right aileron to compensate for the torque roll. Once you get more experienced, you can try new weights and fuel combinations. A fully fueled P-47, with a central tank and two large bombs on the wings, will require 52 inHG or more to take off. But only then, since the aircraft weight will make the left roll tendency less noticeable. Otherwise, control your throttle and let the aircraft take off on its own.
  23. nullThe parking spots on NW corner, 11-26, do not accept any fighter jets nor any planes I can find. They are clearly meant as QRA spots for fighters, yet don't work.
  24. Currently the default option is everything is on the MFD when it should be the other way around. So instead of a option to Hide a unit there should be a option to "Show" on MFD. Unless you suggest that intel is that great so we know exactly where everything is on the battlefield. (this is satire) But anyways, I could be wrong but I think most mission makers would like the objects to be hidden by default and make things a lot easier. Why: So mission makers don't have to go through every unit to hide them from populating on a MFD or COORD page. Instead the key focus targets or main threats are the ones populating on the MFD with using a Show on MFD option. First example: AH-64. The apache automatically adds every single unit (Friendly & enemy) to it's COORD pages and there's only 9 pages and it populates very quick. And if there is a mission maker or campaign maker using units to populate a base those 9 coord pages are now completely filled. And if you're in the cockpit and have to remove those populated units, its a one by one process. Do you see where I'm going with this? So if we're playing a mission or campaign that someone else made and all 9 pages are full from auto populating, but we need to add a waypoint with a control measure, lets say a friendly unit. Now the user needs to go into the coord page, do the process to delete one of those automatically populated points, pause the game, read the message history for the grid again because they're to busy deleting a point that shouldn't be there by default. This example is very real in DCS and would be prevented if the default behavior was set to hidden on MFD. Last example: F-16. The HSD page only shows units that have a radar. If a mission maker is adding radar guided AAA or SAMs they're automatically populating on the HSD. So by default the MFD/HSD is spaghetti soup full of threat rings. If there's a vulcan 100 miles away and nowhere close to the route or objective area, it's populating on the HSD. And if the mission maker doesn't want those units to be seen they have to go through them in the editor and hide every single one.
  25. That's pretty cool!
  26. GTFO is open to all fixed wing and rotary aircraft across eras! image.jpgnull
  27. Could you tell me any of the procedure differences?
