I'll do the best I can to describe this since I don't have any screenshots, video or data. I can only speak for the center tank because that's all I've used. In the F/A-18C, you can take off, burn the center drop tank, land with it still attached, rearm and refuel and it will put a full, fresh, tank on the A/C so you have full fuel when you take off again. If you do this exact same procedure in the F-16C you will NOT get a fresh center tank it will be empty. You either have to rearm and refuel and remove the center tank, then rearm and refuel again (so you have to rearm and refuel twice every time) -OR- you MUST jettison the tank in flight. It will NOT give you a fresh, full, tank when you rearm and refuel with it attached from the previous flight even though the rearm and refuel page shows a center fuel tank attached. It will be empty. I have tested this many times and it's like clock work. 100% every single time. Like I said I have not tested this with the wing tanks though. Thanks!

Has anyone else encountered FCR desynch issues in Apache multicrew on the latest DCS version? I hosted a private server with a friend (with him as C/PG and myself as pilot) and everything worked fine, except I could not see any FCR contacts that he saw. He was the one using the FCR. Also, I created a PFZ and a NFZ using PAN and he could not see those. I believe the latter to be a known bug, but according to the Apache forum roadmap post the FCR synch should be fixed in multiplayer. I wonder if the desynch bug could be related to the known BAM / PAN bug? Sent from my FP4 using Tapatalk

I'm planning to build a new computer (primarily for DCS) and I have two questions: 1. Will I notice a real difference if I add 128 GB of RAM instead of 64 GB? (I know more memory is better, but if the practical difference is small, I don't want to spend money unnecessarily.) 2. Will I notice a significant difference between the graphics cards: RTX 5070Ti 16GB 256-bit vs RTX 5070 12GB 192-bit? Of course, I realize that the 5070TI is more powerful, but I also want to spend my money wisely. And importantly: I won't be playing VR. I don't need anything more than a monitor and a 1920x1080 resolution.

Yes, it ist not necessary but it would be nice. Openkneeboard is a quite annoying tool. You have to bind several new keys as long as you want to be able to use the ingame version as well. You must adjust the position in VR what can be quite a challange for some time and in the end, it is another programm you have to install. I don´t know how hard it is for ED to improve this little thing to their own kneebord, so I can´t tell if it is worth it. But I wanted to try.

I don't have an issue with their accent; it's the quality of the recording that is lacking. The pilot's especially is noticeably quieter than the other radio transmissions and he sounds muffled as if he is talking through a cheap, barely working microphone. Also, after the initial contact with Ground about startup and whatnot, there was never a contact with Tower even though there is a dedicated frequency. And Departure came on not immediately after take-off but after I had moved some 10 miles away from airport.

My question is: is there a noticeable difference between these processors (in DCS)? I know the i7 14700K should generally offer slightly better gaming performance. However, I'd like to know if there's a difference (and if so, how significant) in DCS. I ask because Core Ultra 7 265K is currently cheaper and, due to its architecture, has a wider selection of motherboards. Furthermore, it doesn't have such demanding cooling requirements. So I'm wondering if there's a practical reason to invest in the I7.

Note: there are no copyright or attribution issues. I see that hard copies of VOL 1 & 3 are for sale on eBay for EUR49 each, maybe we could get together to split the cost/effort

Indeed. I use the 5 second fuse all th3 time. It let's you drop from just 100-200 meters. And it's enough for the bomb to arm.

In openkneeboard (which doesn't care about SP/MP) you can add a tab to display the radio log...Again, it would be nice for the tool to be native...But I'm not holding my breath on it

Hi, Issues 1 and 3 in your report are already reported internally and are being tweaked for a future patch. As for issue 2 it sounds like you are confused about the command. Can you make a new report just about issue 2 with a short as possible track replay. Its best to keep one report per issue as it can get confusing. thank you
