  2. Hi CH! There are some inaccuracies in the Tu-95 model (mod and core) The propellers are not positioned correctly now. They should be in the center of the air intakes. Please fix it as you can.
  3. They have to be in one group so you can select formation for them and move as a group. While driving a vehicle you can hold G key and order the group to move wherever you click.
  4. @omnijinx You do not just have Aim9X if you check you also have one 120C. Although there are 4 F5’s your wing will deal with two of them. You will note from the radio calls you are to engage the two on the right so make sure you do that and leave the two on the left to your wing. If you use your radar correctly you can locate and take out one with the 120C. You can then engage the remaining F5 with your Aim9X missiles which when used with your head mounted display will allow you to fire at almost 90 degrees. This together with the better F18 performance will give you a massive advantage over the F4. It should also be noted that the F5s are armed with Aim9ps so rear aspect only compared to your 9Xs which are all aspect.
  5. Yeah DCS has been like this for over 2 years now. It just kind of exits half way. I just figured it was one of those low priority things they won't fix so I ignore it and just task manager.. too hard to report every thing so I just report the major problems.

The only thing that would make sense now would be for Reflected and Baltic to team up again, and this time invite others like Ground Pounder, Sandman, or Badger633 to join forces in creating the ultimate Operation Desert Storm. Based on real life missions with shared scenarios and voice actors, each with a different module and their own individual style, yet always building on one another.

  8. Tracks are, by definition, not an accurate recreation of the mission. Why? It's because when you play a track you run the mission again with your controller inputs. It means everything that is statistical or random (AI behaviours, flare effectiveness, the effectiveness of evasive manoeuvres, the point in time in which AI shoots at you) is calculated again. Your controller input was recorded in the original mission, which means it does no longer apply to the replay, as it's a completely new mission running again. For example: let's say that at some point in time in the mission you get shot at, and try to avoid getting hit. In the track, nothing guarantees that you will be shot at, since the AI treats it as a completely new mission. The AI might shoot at you a second earlier, a second later or never shoot you at all, which makes whatever attempt you make to avoid futile. There was never a point in which an air to air engagement track (vs AI) for example, worked fine. Some people claim that the server's track is more accurate, but I beg the differ. It might be called a replay in the main menu, but it was made to reproduce bugs in a controlled environment (short tracks, recorded in SP, to be sent to the devs).
  9. I recently got back into the seat of the Su-25A and wondered if JTAC's could guide KH-25 missiles like with a hellfire. It makes getting rid of pesky SHORADS and AAA much easier. So, I set up a mission with a JTAC script and kept getting the same disappointing result. Call in JTAC, acquire target, launch override, launch, missile miss by either self-terminating (as seen in the "Su-25A" video) or by flying into the sky the last few seconds before impact. Tried it in a Su-25T and it worked just fine. If I had to guess what the issue is, it is that when launching laser guided missiles on the Su-25A the laser automatically turns on. This in turn causes the seeker to ignore the JTAC's laser entirely and freak out when the Su-25A breaks contact. Meanwhile on the Su-25T the laser does not automatically turn on causing the Kh-25ML to follow the JTAC's laser. Would there be a way to make it so that launching missiles on the Su-25A does not automatically turn on the laser? The Su-25T does not do it and I do not understand why the "A" variant would either.
  10. Had the same experience yesterday. We were both attacking the convoy, as i was aligning myself for another maverick Shadow called "mayday mayday" and i got the prompt that my wingman died and the mission failed. I don't have any mods installed (VoiceAttack only).

  12. Still they are completely outside, providing a lot of radar waves scattering from rotating elements or interface of compressor blades and air inlet. Plus engine pod shape and its mounting under the main body provides a good reflection spot. It might be covered in RAM to decrease the strength of the return wave, but it is not a stealthy design at all.
  13. Hey Baltic, I just finished the campaign. I wrote you a little review but have to ask you about mission 10. After we started we rejoined at the ancor point. After some minutes flying in formation voice lines talking about the stingers and the eagles cought my attention. I tried to watch out for their formations rejoining to us, but could not see anyone. I did not hear anyone on the radio except the other hornets. Maybe I missed a frequency change, since we stayed on Aux 5 the whole time. Normally I would expect a hint, that I have to change to channel XY but there was no, so I thought it would be fine. In relfecteds version there was quite a conversation between the hornets and the vipers, but here none. And of course the hornets were visible, but in your mission ten, we flew as a crippled christmas tree. Is it bugged totally or did I make a major mistake? I think I have the trackfile if you want it.

  15. The night check began on the glide path very close to the aircraft carrier. I didn't check the air brake, otherwise I would have crashed.) I spent 1 hour and 40 minutes on the plane, as seen in the clip. It's 5-40 o'clock. I'm very tired. Nothing is visible, the difficulty mode is maximum. There are no marks on the map and there are no marks of units. I accidentally found and shot down an Iranian Yak-40. Shot from three miles away. I saw that it was a passenger plane, but the briefing says that all flights are prohibited. So it was a bearded enemy.) Shot down three more Mig-29s in different parts of the map. Basically, I was fly from RIO's seat. I'm not young anymore and I like flying in RIO seat.)

  17. I recently completed both Arctic Thunder campaigns, following the developers’ recommended order. After writing a review to refelcteds campaign, I want to share my thoughts about Baltic version too. The connected campaign concept works brilliantly. Being able to live the story from different perspectives adds a huge amount of depth and makes the whole package much more immersive. It’s an approach that would fit many other scenarios too, and I really appreciate the effort that both creators put into making this possible. The voice acting is top-notch, bringing the characters to life and making the radio environment feel very authentic and dynamic. Combined with the great storytelling, the immersion is outstanding. The campaign has a grand, well-developed narrative that draws you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go. On the practical side, I did encounter some challenges: sometimes it wasn’t easy for me to find the correct coordinates or acquire the intended targets. This may partly come down to my own skills or the limitations of DCS itself. Occasionally, units hidden in dense forests were almost impossible to spot, and on rare occasions I wasn’t entirely sure what the campaign expected me to do next. The last mission seemded to be bugged some way, at least there werde no other airplanes in the formation besides our hornets. Playing the mission in the F16 it looked much different. That said, these moments were the exception rather than the rule. Overall, the campaign ran smoothly and reliably and delivered a very complete and satisfying experience. For me, this was my first Baltic Dragon campaign, and it left me eager to explore more of his work in the future. Baltic Dragon’s Arctic Thunder is a masterfully crafted, immersive experience that combines superb voice acting, a gripping story, and the unique strength of the connected campaign format. Highly recommended to any Hornet pilot looking for a deep and memorable campaign.
  18. Thank you very much, there are no problems at all with this checked. Is it possible to get this option in the F14 too? There is the same pitch up momentum. The strange thing is it is only a thing in HB modules. Would be very great! Maybe its not the big thing to implement it. Thanks!
  19. Gentlemen, Complete off topic, I know.. but: I have this module for a couple of weeks now. Is there a keybinding where I can select multiple vehicle's at once? Now I have to select unit by unit and give them all the same waypoints. Cheers!

  22. Just tried these on my setup: RX6800 gpu Ryzen 7 3800X I'm getting around 80fps on F16 Kola free flight mission so highest ever. However I'm getting 80-90ms in latency, what are you getting? What is your network/wifi setup?
  23. Actually, the firmware of the motion/ffb device should filter out unsafe telemetry. That really isn't that hard to do. Just implement cutoffs above certain acceleration values (in simple terms). Provider of FFB devices really shouldn't deflect blame for jolting/unsafe behavior of those on the game.

  25. I recently completed both Arctic Thunder campaigns by Baltic Dragon and Reflected, following the recommended order from the developers. Arctic Thunder left a very strong impression on me, and I’d like to share a few thoughts. One of the most brilliant aspects is the concept of the connected campaign. Switching perspectives between the Stingers and the finnish Horents adds enormous value, especially in larger missions, and it’s an idea that would work extremely well in many other scenarios too, since most DCS players own more than one module, after all. The ground chief mechanic is another highlight. It takes immersion to a whole new level, and here Reflected truly outdid himself. To be honest, I sometimes skipped it when short on time, but to enjoy the missions to their fullest, I highly recommend taking the extra minutes. The voice acting is excellent across the board, and the triggers work smoothly and reliably. As always with Reflected’s work, following proper procedures, maintaining time-on-target, and flying by the book are essential. Some may see this as limiting and like on rails, but in real air force operations, you can’t just do whatever you want either. It adds to the realism and makes the whole experience much more authentic. One interesting aspect for me was, that I could aply skills an knowledge I gained in the Redflag 81-2 campaign. Although this campaign was created for another plane, it felt like Arctic Thunder was the deployment I trained for in Redflag 81-2. Mission design is varied and engaging, and the character development reaches a real high point in Mission 7. Still, my personal favorite was Mission 5. The missions are long and realistic, often involving pre-push refueling, holding at anchor, and then pushing in on the right codeword. For players who don’t have much time, I would even recommend considering the immortal mode because it can be frustrating to get hit by a SAM after more than an hour of careful flying. The briefings are fully integrated into DCS, which means you don’t necessarily need to read the PDFs. The setting, attention to detail, realism, and overall immersion are outstanding. This campaign is definitely not aimed at absolute beginners. You need to know your way around the Viper before starting. That said, I still learned a lot about the aircraft throughout the campaign. Arctic Thunder is another masterpiece by Reflected. The concept, execution, and immersion are second to none. Highly recommended.
