  1. Past hour
  2. @BIGNEWYStill nothing with the latest update. 5 months ago and no response from the team? Any idea why the silence on this issue?
  3. Cheers! Yeah, now it is much better but still required a lil bit of tuning. Appreciated your work!
  4. @Arcc Try to exit DCS, update it if you didn't already. When you're updating, go into Saved Games DCS, and find the controls input folder or something. Find the A-10C II folder and rename/delete it. The settings might have become corrupted. When the update is done, and you enter the A-10C again, all the default settings for your Warthog should automatically be regenerated. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. This bug looks fixed now in version 2.9.20 .15010 patch.
  6. Are you guys using latest NVidia drivers? Have read about troubles and therefore did not update from the penultimate one
  7. All still the same for me after the patch...utterly slow loading and sluggish menus....actually, I havent seen any line in the log about this problem. It wasnt supposed to be some fix for this?
  8. In release 2.9.20.15010 it is announced: "Added livery selection to encyclopedia with ability to seamlessly reload livery (will help livery creators to check changes made to the livery, without restarting DCS) WIP we will look for feedback. A more detailed tool for viewing models inside DCS is planned." Since feedback is requested... A simple reload of textures in the ME will not be a sufficient replacement for the powerful Mission Editor and will not placate the vast majority of Livery artists. While the effort to work around the difficulties that encryption has emplaced is much appreciated, I would ask that dev / team efforts be directed into returning functionality of the MV rather than the minimal "solution" of simply refreshing in the ME. We (Skinners) are mostly of the opinion that it IS possible to revise the Mission Editor to work with encrypted files. If this is incorrect, please state so and explain why.
  9. My first impression is very very good aswell! Very detailed and beautifull cockpit and super good PC performence aswell. The flight model is so much FUN. Very repsonsive but not twitchy or nervous at all! I guess the MIG-29A is not fly-by wire, so how they managed to get this flight model so good is amazing. Because the airctaft feels like a cold war jet but you can control it with such high precision and it moves in the air like an aircraft should! The trimming of flight surfaces works good aswell! It is lika a russian F-16 but still with its own personality ! The engine sounds are really good aswell, and the bird was a joy to land! Not to challenging (not like the F-4 Phantom at all!) but not to easy either (like the JF-17!), it was perfect when it comes to difficulty! I have not tested the mirrors yet so I can't really say anytning about it. I am looking forward to more training missions being released, that is the only whing I found lacking this far.
  10. You can also try out the miz I posted, Engine Diagnostics. It also shows the aircraft health percentage, so if you spawn in and it’s not 100%, then something is damaged. The problem with this, and also calling for repairs, is that we don’t know what’s broken. It might not even be the landing gear if a repair is needed or the script shows less than 100% health.
  11. I'm pretty sure that patch note refers strictly to the plane being slammed hard onto the ground upon spawn in previous DCS version. THAT doesn't happen now. I didn't notice it caused damage anyway (in single player at least), but if it's been fixed then good for us. This thread, however, is about taxiing, which is separate issue altogether and hasn't been addressed in the patch it seems (judging from my couple of short flights).
  12. Hi. This old bug looks fixed now in version 2.9.20 .15010 patch.
  13. Oh, my bad then. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. Hi. This old bug looks fixed now in version 2.9.20 .15010 patch.
  15. You're killing me... Edit: I missed a few updates, I'm trying the "dcs_updater update versionnumber@openbeta" thing with one updater after the other rn and so far on the first step, it seems to work. Still using the @openbeta tag since I was on that branch before they got merged and my file structure still represents it.
  16. After the recent update of 17/09 I noticed the new bort number system introduced with the RNZAF liveries is also showing up on all the other USN/USMC liveries, see the screenshot below:
  17. I'll take a look, but if I were to guess I think it's because of the more advanced radar with multiple channels I'm using (compared to the Tunguska and Tor M1). The CA interfaces doesn't really work perfectly with these features. So it might just stay a known issue until CA is updated. Just like the cockpit player control of the Pantsir and Tor M2, which also doesn't use the radar as the AI asset. But I still implemented the player control feature as a somewhat limited functionality is still much better than none at all.
  18. There are new mirror options in Settings. In my case by default it went to a low quality and without "every frame", check there if everything is set to good quality.
  19. Thanks guys! That's exactly what I was looking for!
  20. If you are talking about the issue with the ATACMS missile missing after its been launched and reloaded, that's been fixed. I just ran a test and it seem to work as it should, the covers are being replaced after a reload.
  21. Not Implemented (в переводе — «не реализовано») Кстати, степень износов будет уточняться, судя по спискам изменений патча.
  22. Talking about appreciation. Happily surprised about the TLC given to the Caucasus map in this latest update! Hope there is more to come with new technology coming online as part of the new maps under development. With so many content available (campaigns and user files) this remains an important map that deserves to remain up to date.
  23. Hi all, I have only tested the MIG-29A for 2 hours (the module has only been released for like 4 hours ) so this is my first impressions! But I am VERY impressed with the MIG-29A! Why am I so impressed? Am I here to create hype? No I am impressed because this is a very very good module and let me tell you why! The PC performence is amazing. The cockpit and body of the aircraft is 3D-modeled and textured to the most modern and highest standards, and still the PC performence is super good! I run a RTX 3080 with 32 GB of ram, I always play in VR (and so I did during my first impressions testing) and FPS / Framerate was ROCK SOLID 72 FPS (and with ALL my modules in DCS my BEST FPS is 72). This means the MIG-29A has as good PC performence as older modules like the F-18 but with with higher cockpit detail then F-18, nicely done Eagle Dynamics! The flight module is very FUN. It is like a mix between the F-16 and the F-18, it is very repsonsive but not twitchy or nervous at all! The engine sounds are very good aswell. You can hear all the rpms from the turbines, from the bottom and all the way up, and the sound very powerful! The only thing I am missing is more training missions, but being a pre-release module I know they will come in time. If I can sumup my first impression in one single word it would be: FUN. This bird gets a smile on your face for sure
