  2. Can someone help me with customized cockpit textures (internal pilot body exactly)... Ive made custom body textures (pants, jacket + medium files also) In special option in game, when I change Default, Default-medium, and English - game recognized my custom pilot body When I change to Default-low, English-low and English-medium game load default dark blue body. Which command line is for those 3 non-working options? Does I need some extras texture files beside those 4?   5. Nice! But Voila what? I mean, did you experience any practical improvement during gameplay? Higher FPS? I installed process lasso on another PC than this one some time back. All it did was leaving me confused. Not sure what I was actually doing or if it improved anything at all. So, I uninstalled it. That was on an Intel CPU based PC. This new here is AMD 9950x3D. Not sure if it (lasso) will actually do anything. I feel I have smooth gameplay, I don't experience stutters with my Crystal Super. If it helped you - good.
  6. That makes perfect sense. Set to ILLUM, the radar is doing its radar thing plus transmitting making it the primary channel. Set to DUMMY, it's doing its radar thing and waiting to be told what to do with it.

Вы помните совсем не то, что было, самолёт "упал" при проведении ПСИ, т.е Приёмо Сдаточных Испытаний, которые проводят в том числе лётчики испытатели Военного Представительства МО конкретного авиастроительного предприятия и только после завершения ПСИ и устранения выявленных в воздухе и на земле недостатков и оформления соответствующей документации технику начинают принимать непосредственно представители воинских частей МО. А техника она имеет свойство отказывать и задача контролирующих структур именно в том и заключается, что бы на стадии производства, проверок и испытаний сделать так, что бы этих отказов было как можно меньше, но нельзя исключать и человеческий фактор, это когда исполнитель нарушает требования конструкторской, технологической и эксплуатационной документации, а потом начинается визг, мол техника плохая, нет, это либо голова дурная, либо руки кривые у исполнителя....
  8. I thought to grab a couple screenshots last night from saving the new head position after an FOV change. I think the only way to start over is to delete the the snapview.lua in Saved Games. the one in the DCS directory doesn't do anything. The lua in the Saved Games directory will persist after a module reinstall or repair, so you must delete it. Once you do that, start DCS without head tracking, hop into the Fulcrum, adjust the FOV, and then save the snap view. Good luck. -Ryan

  11. А вы сударь докажите обратное причём со ссылкой на документ, а не на чьё то мировосприятие....А ситуацию я и контролирую и при необходимости исправляю именно в той сфере, которой работаю, а конкретно разработка, производство и испытания ВВСТ, а дорогами пусть дорожные службы занимаются...
  12. I believe you can see Global Hawk UAS adjacent to one of the sun shades if you zoom in on the 2nd photo. You may have to go to the source from which the image was pulled to see it though.

  14. I noticed that since the last patch something changed with the behavior of bombfuses. I used to use FMU 152 with a 60ms delay to destroy ammobunkers. Wich worked very well with 2xGBU24 pave 3. Now with the 152 Fuse i am not able to damage the bunker even for 1%. Back to the 143 Fuse with 60ms and 2x GBU24 i manage to do 3% damage, but never more. Doesnt matter what i do. What has changed, did i miss something or is this a bug?

I think all major points have already been made, but there is another slightly more subtle argument, that i call the penny pusher problem: PvP in supposedly deep tactical games often feels like coin pushers: You can approach the game with skill and planning, but the tactical outcome is determined less by your individual input and more by the unpredictable cascade of random strangers piling in. Each round looks the same on the surface, yet wildly different results occur depending on who happens to show up and how they collide. Without roleplay, or at least shared intent, the tactical layer collapses into arbitrary "social randomness". Players might believe their actions are decisive, while in reality their agency is constantly undercut by uncontrollable and completely opaque variables. That kind of randomness can work in Quake, where chaos is the point and individual skill shines through nevertheless, but in a game that sells itself on tactical depth and interconnected systems it creates frustration imho, because what should feel like a battle of strategy ends up feeling like an arcade machine. This randomness is arbitrary and opaque: It creates noise rather than depth. Therefore it should not be mistaken for the kind of randomness that fuels replayability in well designed dynamic scenarios (dynamic campaign?!) where variation emerges from clear rules and systemic design. In those scenarios, even losing can be satisfying, because players can see how their choices interacted with the rules.
  19. lol. been there, done that. i am solely an SP user. as many say, squads are great, but the time put in to getting all the schedules together is a hindrance. i am the member of a squad. they host a PvE server. i play the same mission locally. they put a lot of time into it and it is quite fun.

  22. The manual of the real helo has the Army code TM 1-1520-237-10 ... shortened to "-10" by many users. In my opinion it is unnecesarily complex, you can perfectly learn this bird with just its 67-page DCS guide (DCS UH-60L Mod v2 Guide.pdf which is in the \Doc folder of the helo)

  26. And yet you have stronger technical document stating that blanking is there and radar itself has diagram with output signal for SPO-15 blanking? This can not be denied by pilot's manual, yet it can be explained with deterioration of electronics. Either in radar or in SPO-15. It should be distinguished from the time when aircraft was new and operational from the time several years later where these mechanisms did not work anymore. Hence, we need to be able to trigger those failures, but otherwise the radar and spo should behave according to their designs.
