  1. Past hour
  2. I don't think is possible to add a HUD into a DCS module, but others may know better.
  4. Hello everyone Every weekend we are playing in my public server, You're all invited. See you there, LongShot
  5. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? Everything is water, it happens mostly over sand, and sometimes solves itself after a while, but others is like that forever and I cannot even land.
  6. I have both and i enjoy both.
  7. Really nice to get the Zero - but for the late war scenarions and opponents, wouldn't a Ki-84 be more interesting? No one will dare dogfight the Zero and it is too slow to catch up with anyone that understands that?
  8. @Japo32 Hi, can you confirm if you are still setting an affinity? and do you have hyperthreading / smt enabled? If you are using core parking try without and let me know the results. thank you
  9. I turned off the Core Parking and Scrub again, this is the Logs and the DxDiag. Thank you very much for your help in solving this recurring problem. J'ai désactivé le Core Parking = Crach à nouveau, voici le Logs et le DxDiag. Merci beaucoup de votre aide pour régler ce problème récurent. dcs.log DxDiag.txt
  10. Frankly, the whole reputation of the Starfighter in Germany was decidedly blown out of proportion by a contemporary media campaign and the concurrent bribery scandal. Once it had that reputation there was nothing to be done to change it again. A lot of it had to do less with the F-104G or its mission profiles and more with the Luftwaffe itself.
  11. Isn't the sight only one part of the system, though?
  13. I think it's a full version. I am on a previous version, and when starting Pimax Play it comes up as an available update. See my screenshot below from my windows desktop:
  14. Whatever even constitutes a 'normal' SAR helicopter to begin with... I concur that there are sufficient hints that a UH-60L might be in the works down the line already, but I disagree that it was the 'most wanted heli of all helicopter pilots in DCS'. Neither do I see how that would be the third one made. You seriously just insist on ignoring some things, don't you?
  15. Ohhh....That part makes sense. Needs a GPS fix versus artillary which just "shoots there"
  16. It may be 'cos his assess are GPS/INS targeting. Such as cruise missiles, they can only fired on a fixed position.
  17. Interesting hour long defense economics lecture on the potential future of the Attack Helicopter...
  18. Планируется ли в этом году выпуск Су-25 с новыми текстурами, которые показывали полгода назад? Очень хочется!
  19. Only if the parachutes worked.. (you all know the video I am thinking of, right?)
  20. Ok thank you, I understood that you had to activate the Core Parking Ok merci, j'avais compris qu'il fallait activer le Core Parking
  21. Today
  22. The 250 MC II and the 500 MC II, are the only bombs in the DCS British arsenal that will fit American aircraft. Only useful fuses are 1 and 11 seconds. Better than nothing. ..
  23. There are 2 perspectives here. One is: How will it work for me? In that regard, you're right, a subscription model might work badly for me in the future. Of course it also means I might get access to the entire product catalog at once for a comparatively tiny amount of money, and cost would only accumulate over time, so it might even be cheaper for me in the long run, if I was otherwise purchasing new modules every couple of months anyway. The other perspective is: How does it work for ED? The way I see it, ED is forced to sell modules. Old modules don't sell well, so they need to kick out new modules and keep the crowd pleased. Modules are insanely complex, development times are long, and while necessary work is underway for new modules, old modules get moved back on the list of priorities. Take your pick, I'm sure you'll find more than enough examples right away. And the core? Well, we don't pay for the DCS core, we pay for shiny modules, and modules in turn pay for the core. I'd say this model doesn't look sustainable to me. Issues keep piling up, features like ATC revamp aren't even mentioned nowadays, we're stuck with a dozen weather presets, vertical clouds aren't a thing yet, the air pressure remains the same across an entire map, AI path finding can drive players and servers insane... You catch my drift. A subscription model could work as an incentive to focus on the core of DCS rather than on new modules. And at that, it could pay for asset development like the PTO Assets pack that spawned this particular discussion - of course that's a ton of work, of course devs and artists need to be paid. Fragmenting the player base with payware asset packs is a legitimate concern, and a subscription model might work better than the current one. But I'll be the first to admit: I'm happy it's not my choice to make and my burden to carry if it goes wrong. And ED have kept the lights on in very demanding times, so they must be doing something right.
  24. I’m very excited about the A6M5 Zero coming to DCS, it hits close to home! Huge thanks, ED! The PTO 1944 Assets Pack looks incredible, especially with the Shokaku aircraft carrier. Are you implementing full carrier operations for the Zero on the Shokaku? Any details you can share? Also, will owning the PTO Assets Pack be required to access carrier ops? Thanks again!
  25. Anybody found out about the arguments for description.lua for Pilot suit? I can't seem to get it to work while trying to "invent" entries in the description.lua while using the templates for Pilot suit top and suitBottom. Also, it seems there are two different liveries in use for Pilot in cockpit and Pilot ejected. Really no fun at all to try and work yourself through this mess with important information missing.
  26. Well if vehicles can be airdropped, transportable, then if they are CA compatible you should be able to drive them after the drop.
