  1. Past hour
  2. That was it. Go figure. The only Mod i had was swastika and engine sound. I removed the engine sound mod and there's the drop tank. Thanks !
  3. In the real world, when a GNS 430 is fitted to such an aircraft such as the MiG, isn't it more of a kluge? If you stick one in a Cessna with Bendix King radios, obviously it will allow tuning of both nav and comm radios as an alternative to the dials on the radios themselves. But these are Soviet era radios. In the real world, when such a device is put into some old Soviet aircraft, does that kind of integration with the nav/comm system actually even work? I always assumed that they just mounted it somewhere (or duct taped it) only to provide basic gps and show the pilot a convenient position reference. I have this device fitted to both the Mi-8 and the C-101. I never expected it to actually tune the radios, even though I know the device is capable of it when properly wired in. If ED makes a Cessna 172, then yes, I would absolutely expect it to do all of this stuff. Product description for the MiG-29 aside, is my assesment correct?
  4. Назначается. Сначала открыть крышку, а затем...null
  5. not sure if a bug or intended - in the past, when using post designate CCIP, upon pressing (and holding) weapon release, the pipper would stay "fixed" to the desired aimpoint (the location the pipper was upon pressing and holding WPN release). recently however, the pipper continues to move while holding the WPN release button pressed. is that the way it should be? Post-designate-pipper.trk
  6. well...if one were to do it that way, you could place percentage ranges on an axis and map them as buttons...id have to refresh my memory on how to do it, but both virpil and vkb software allow you to do just that.
  7. В описании РУС есть позиция, но в настройках управления она не назначается.
  8. That‘s a tough one. I don’t have a collective and use just the throttle. Initially I inverted the Throttle for helicopters to mimic the pulling motion, but that totally messed up my muscle memory. Ultimately, long arm -> more power, short arm -> less power. That would be my recommendation unless you get a real collective. (Which you don’t need to have a blast with helicopters imho). Your pickup problem sounds to me as if you haven’t mastered the coordination between inputs yet. You can‘t stop doing one while adjusting the other. The more collective you apply, the more anti torque pedal you need to give etc. That‘s not a shortcoming, just a lack of practice. Try to apply a curve to the cyclic to make it less responsive around the middle position. Make use of trim (and check the different trim options in the special options). For all the helicopters we have in dcs, the cyclic must be pulled back (about half an inch) for vertical pickup. (and a quarter inch to the left or right, depending on the the direction of your main rotor). Trim it in this position before trying to lift of. Your necessary corrections on the Stick (depending on length) should be mm rather than cm…..
  9. This mod doesn't include any additional weapons, and the template is from the standard version. It's a shame to install it.
  10. Correct. It may skip.
  11. Thanks for the video. In it, I can see the violent vibration of the stick. What I experienced was a bit different. When entering stall slowly and gradually, the stick would pull forward to decrease AoA. What I mean by this is the virtual stick in game. However, the hardware would stay in my hand pulled back all the way. So that should tell the software that I have pulled through the AoA limiter. But instead, my stick input at the max limit wasn’t registered, and AoA was decreased by the limiter, which also moves the virtual stick forward. now it’s possible that since I have pulled already hard to reach the limit of the stick range, the hardware forces are already maxed out with the stick in my lap, and therefore I wouldn’t feel the returning force (that is visible in the virtual stick). I will test this again. What I would expect based on what’s been said is that the max force required to pull the stick back before AoA limiter should be 17 kg less than after the limiter kicks in. This has to be downscaled of course for hardware limitations. I would still expect a difference in the forces required when I pull back without the limiter, vs when I push through the limiter, and ideally I would feel the returning force as well when the AoA limiter kicks in
  12. An axis that steps through the knob positions?
  13. Настроить кнопку в настройках, изначально она не задана. Здесь на форуме это уже обсуждалось неоднократно. Первые же англоязычные результаты в Гугле ведут на соответствующие темы. В руководстве в описании РУС есть позиция.
  14. Modified for navigation
  15. Yes it has stick pusher. Force only increases 17 kg when hit limit it’s not always 26 degrees, could be 15 if LEF are up. At different speeds it may lift stick forward for two degrees of elevator, or 15 (from Mach 0.45-0.72)
  16. You will always see: post a question and i find the sollution myself. I read the log and saw that DCS was unable to open a zip archive. I went back into my Bitdefender and saw that i set the option "scan archives" to on. I turned that option off and DCS started.
  17. Тогда вопрос следующий - как сбросить бак? Пробовал различные кнопки, сочетания кнопок, ничего не помогает.
  18. What about the pilot in cockpit model ? Is a must for a lot of people in VR
  19. Today
  20. Vielleicht war das einfach schon die Antwort, die ich gebraucht habe...
  21. Good Afternoon. Tubii ?, What do you mean set the column in controls to default. I just got my eye tracker, DCS shows headtracker in the controls page. Do u mean delete that column. thanks

  22. Maybe mod conflict or corrupted files. Delete all mods (if you have any) and run a repair/file verification.
  23. ah, that looks great! how much ply did you end up using? i've used mumbles files and taken the measurements from that best i could. it was time consuming! How did you convert the sketchup files into something that could be used by a laser/cnc cutter and was it expensive to do? sorry loads of questions!!
  24. A little late to the party on this thread… I agree that the F-1 is very sensitive directionally on the landing roll out. However, I view this behavior as a very good simulation of what you would expect with tall, narrow track-width gear that are mounted so closely to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage. Essentially, the airframe can rotate around its long axis much easier than it could on gear mounted further outboard, or on the wings. And when you add the fact that trailing link landing gear often allow for a longer suspension stroke, it ends up in keeling around turns like a 1970s Buick Station wagon without sway bars. The F-16 has similarly mounted gear, very close to the long-axis of the fuselage. But the suspension design has a much shorter stroke (and is firmer) compared to the softly sprung trailing link arrangement of the F-1. A firm, short stroke limits how deeply the F-16 leans when turning at speed, making it more stable on roll out. It will still flip over, but it doesn’t lean as much before doing so. The F-18 also has fuselage mounted gear, and a trailing link arrangement with a very long suspension stroke. However, it probably feels way more stable on roll-out because the gear are mounted further away from the longitudinal axis, and the airplane is seems relatively lower to the ground with full weight on wheels. These both contribute to making the plane more stable, because it can’t roll about the longitudal axis as easily when experiencing side-loads. Basically, this behavior is what makes DCS awesome. It shows you can model the unique behaviors expected for different types of landing gear designs/arrangements. From my point of view, this is definitely a not a bug, it’s a feature (it’s not to say I can judge the minute details of the modeling, because nobody has lent me their F-1 to fly around. But the general behavior tracks with what you’d expect for its configuration). (Sorry, pun lol).
  25. What happend to your KDU? Crazy to see all the progress. Is this project still ongoing? In regards of the KDU PCB, I created one which is in principle working, I just had a wrong layout cell which caused me to solder some stuff :/. Maybe this is still ongoing. Because currently I am looking for a software solution of my KDU.
  26. Hi all, Suddenly DCS wont start. Problem: I click on play and login into the DCS launcher. After that the steam verification is okay and the loading screen just hangs and DCS wont start. What did i do so far: I uninstalled DCS completely and also deleted the saved game folder and another folder in appdata\local (or roaming). Reinstalled DCS, restarted my pc but same problem. Reinstalled Directx, X86 and X64 redist files, same problem. Reset my Bitdefender exception for the DCS drive: same problem. Im out of sollutions. Windows 11 64 bit - I7 13700 K - 2x32GB Corsair 6000 - AMD Asus TUF 9070XT .
