It's because the assets in my mod packs doesn't have a Level Of Detail (LOD) configuration. Using this technique the models will be replaced with ones with much less polygons the further away they are. Without LODs your computer will have to calculate the max poly version of the asset regardless of the distance to you. My core DCS assets all have LODs, and I'm currently adding it to the mod packs also, but it'll take a while before it will be done to all of them.

Yes that binding’s been there since the module launched, and is what I have been using. In your case, if you use the other bindings and don’t bind the Centre position, of course it won’t return to centre. It works the exact same way in other modules too. You have options depending on your specific setup: if you have a switch with 3 bindable positions, use the (recall-centre-acknowledge) binding, but in most cases people will have switches with 2 bindable positions that springloads back to centre, in which case use the (Recall <> Middle) and (Acknowledge <> Middle) bindings. Most if not all modules use the exact same logic.

ну, если по-простому, то траекторией полета Вихря ты управляешь лучом, как "Малюткой" с БМП, которая наводится по проводам (за "Малюткой", или за НОТ-3, тянется провод управления. Или как сейчас, за дроном тянется оптоволоконный кабель. Или как у ПТРК с ручным наведением. А Ха25, либо Хелфаер - взлетают вверх, и ГСН начинает искать отраженный сигнал лазера на цели (лазерное пятно). Кароч - ГСН находит, грубо говоря "солнечный (лазерный) зайчик" на цели и ракета летит на него самостоятельно. Ты можешь менять место положения пятна, и переводить траекторию ракеты на другую цель. А Вихрем рулишь ты сам ... типа того

I'd certainly fancy a Westland Lynx (surely there's a place in DCS for the world's "fastest" helo)(also, DCS could do with some more non-US western modules) But I'd definitely also buy the CH-53 if it were available. With the Hook and Herc, DCS is focussing more and more on cargo hauling in their sim, so the Stallion would be a great addition in that respect
