Hi There I am flying the F-16C module with the latest DCS 2.9.19.13478 version. My system is Intel i7 with RTX 4060. The Joystick is Saitek X45. The issue is that when the Autopilot is engaged, the ATT HOLD and ALT HOLD mode does not work. The lateral modes works OK. I have a track where I activate the ATT and ALT modes. The flight path marker appears to stabilize but it keeps drifting in pitch. It neither holds the ALT or the ATT. Please see the track and let me know if I am missing anything. Cheers! Push to Talk toggles DCS native communication menu

You might want to stop using the communication menu binding, and start using the correct PTT bindings, unless you have Easy Comms enabled and/or only fly FC modules. Easy Comms is going away, and the communication menu will not let you use the comms menu in the air for FF modules if easy comms is forced off in a mission. Cheers! So last night, I experienced a glitch where I was going along the taxiway towards the runway. I tried putting on the brakes when I was about to turn for the runway. I couldn't. I checked controls to see if it was assigned to my joystick, and it was. This morning, I tested it again, and it worked. Did anyone have this issue? I mean, I hadn't done anything.

Hi all, I have looked for information on the forum but didn't find anything conclusive, do we know yet how the FF module will stack up in terms of sensor and platform performances compared to the FC3 29A ? From what I gathered here and there, the IRST is probably over performing in FC3 do to a larger FOV, but what about the radar (range, sensibility to ECM, etc) ? Same question for the plane itself: it's stated that the same EFM will be used, but was the engine modelling tweaked for instance ? Do we have to expect different aerodynamic behavior in some configurations ? Overall, can we expect the same kinematic capabilities as the FC3 module ? Thanks !

Once again I want to point out massive problems I'm experiencing in multiplayer for quite some time now since one of the last updates, especially on Growling Sidewinder Server. I find it very, very sad that ED does not care about multiplayer at all, which is an important part of the game. The following problems occur every single time: Missiles often don't hit visual targets that should be within the NEZ or the kill is not registered, even with the target not evading Planes disappear or pop up out of nowhere or they lag so massively to the point that they become untrackable Frame time spikes and stuttering en masse The game occasionally freezes completely or crashes to the desktop I'm getting a score for a missile that I've never shot (while I'm on an airfield for example) I have a video here that shows some of the points (frame time spikes, freezing and a target that should be dead but just disappears from DL and visually): What happened after the video: After 30 seconds the freezing stopped and I was still alive and surrounded by enemies. Missiles didn't hit me and I couldn't lock targets that were right in front of me until i switched to the desktop and back to DCS. I should have been long dead, but still was able to get another kill until I was shot down. If this doesn't only happen to me, it could explain why some planes just disappear or pop up out of nowhere or don't get killed by close range missiles for no reason. In a previous thread I had already emphasized this problems 5 months ago! Apparently nothing has changed to a point that DCS became unplayable in multiplayer. А как узнать что Вы не используете DCS для обучения? Или любой из нас ? Мало ли кто для чего практикует навыки в симуляторе. Я уже молу про то что есть отдельная коммерческая версия на базе DCS которая создана специально для обучения пилотов. И благодаря которой и нам немного перепадает.

Salut les plans de canard son sur un axe libre normalement et réagissent en fonction des mouvements de l'avion ne pouvant reproduire ce phénomène on les a fait réagir au mouvement des axes pour plus de réalisme visuel. E&P Hello, the duck plans are normally on a free axis and react based on the movements of the plane. Unable to reproduce this phenomenon, we made them react to the movement of the axes for more realism.

Definitely would be good. Also, touching on the fact that it is a little problematic how much this sort of thing depends on the module.

Iraq Development Progress We are adding several new airfields to the Iraq North region and making a series of terrain and existing airfield refinements to the DCS: Iraq map. Clipmap adjustments are complete, and ground object settings have been normalized so that all non destructible models are now correctly flagged. This ensures consistent behaviour across the map as we move into the next round of art and performance passes. Please check out the development screenshots and stay tuned for the update coming soon. A key focus of this Iraq North update will be the addition of the H-2, H-3 Main, H-3 Northwest, and H-3 Southwest airfields in western Iraq. These served as critical Iraqi airbases during both Gulf Wars and as the focus on numerous offensive counter air, suppression of air defenses, SCUD-Hunt, and fighter sweep missions. To the north at Mosul, the Mosul Airfield has been added, as well as the surrounding area being improved. The southern portion of this region will see the addition of Al Kut airfield that also saw extensive action during the Gulf Wars and the earlier Iran-Iraq War. Several unique points of interest are also being added; the Kirkuk and Al-Shaab Stadiums, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Grand Festival Square, Mar Mattai Monastery, Baghdad and Babylon palaces, and more.This is in addition to improvements to the existing airfields such as better hangars, control towers, and terminals. Following the release of the Iraq North update (similar to the recent Afghanistan Map update), the full-attention of the Iraq map team will focus on the southern region to include all or portions of southern Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. Much of this work has already started, along with the addition of several Iranian airfields to allow Iran-Iraq War scenarios. Bye Phant

Can the mini joystick on these flight sticks be assigned to buttons via the software? Like what could be done with JoyToKey? A mini stick on these isn’t as useful as another hat.

Well much much better than WMR. I use to run the headset at 60Hz, so the FPS lock, but low flying over buildings I got GPU on green and over 90 theoretically. Great job @Mbucchia! You did it again !
