I had that in my MiG-29 yesterday: I kept asking 100 (the A-50) for bogey dope, and they insisted the closest bandit is the one I locked up, off my nose at 25km. The next thing I see is flames and me tumbling out of control as I hear a voice say: "717, MERGED". Well, that was helpful...

Not sure if this is a bug or intended behaviour. If you select airfield two or three then hit the RETURN button the selected airfield flips to number one. After that you can select two or three and it'll 'stick'.

Lösung gefunden. Die G502x Maus hatte eine zu höhe Melde/Abtastrate im Profil gespeichert. Bissl runtergedreht und es geht wieder ohne Ruckeln. Vielleicht hilft es anderen .....

IMO people who aren’t in the military wearing military style patches is cringeworthy. Unless you’re a kid… Or these guys

Single Players: What would win you over to a multiplayer server?
Lace replied to Dangerzone's topic in DCS 2.9
I like the idea of a virtual squadron carrying out semi-realistic PvE missions, however, the main obstacle for me is the inability to commit to a particular mission push time, or to stay connected for several hours at a time. Perhaps this is something to save for retirement, or at least until the children have moved on. At the moment SP suits my needs, and the EDDCE will (hopefully) provide much of what I am looking for without relying on MP servers. I also don't like the fact that some groups require additional software/apps like Discord or SRS, rather than just using the integrated comms. I have zero interest in PvP 'Air-Quake' with unrealistic respawns, instant rearming, air starts, etc. -
MiG-29"A" isn't a MiG-29A
Raven (Elysian Angel) replied to Northstar98's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Yes that's fine for Flaming Cliffs, but many people expect more from a full-fidelity module. If Heatblur can call their modules "F-14A-135-GR" and "F-4E-45-MC", then ED can call it "MiG-29 9.12A". It will also make the distinction between FC3 and FF easier for the more casual people- 6 replies

DCS, the REDFOR imbalance and Flankers
Silver_Dragon replied to cailean_556's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Remember: First: DCS World has no "Balance". Many of that projects has 3rd Party projects, no ED. 3rd party select projects by your criteria (normaly by countries). The Mig-29A by ED, has build with info the a old Warsac Pact country, no Russia. As Wags claim on previous Q&A, the problem has the available info, SME, resources, time and licenses to make a FF Redforce aircraft, remember the problems by Deka to make a chinesse FF aircrafts. About ED projects: Su-25A FF has no claimed by ED yet, as a Su-27 FF, A-10A FF and other Mig-29 FC versions. Await ED share news about them. Actual future ED projects F-15C (Blue) F-35A (Blue) Future Helo (Blue and/or Red) A6M5 Zero (Red) About 3rd Party projects: Aerges Mirage F-1M (Blue) F-104G/TF-104G (Blue) Airplane Simulation Company C-130J (Blue) Aviron KFIR (Blue/Red). Works for me. From 0-30 degrees off nose IRST locks. From 31-45 only R-27. You can tell because you get no dashed circle only dashed crosshair. But 46-60 degrees nothing will work on HMS unless ( right now), R-73 only works 45 degrees off boresight but helmet can do up to 60

I support the rename. I wish ED was a bit more careful with internal naming scheme. For some aircrafts they use official designation but for some inofficial. And in some cases they actually duplicate designation for 2 variants (example Ka-50). BTW it is interesting to note that X-25, X-29 was envisioned in this version already. I wonder why they dropped that. Off course X-29 came to 29 later, but it is worth noting that it was part of upgrade options for 9.12 operators.

reported SA-19 is not engaging air weapons anymore
BIGNEWY replied to GRY Money's topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
thanks you, we have asked the team to check this and have made a rpeort. -
Not at all, but what is likely to get more attention: 5 threads with 5 posts each, or 1 thread with 25 posts? Granted, this quote is about wishlists, but still.

I always took MiG-29A as a colloquial form of NATO lingo Fulcrum-A following how NATO pilots talk about it and would have absolutely no sleepless nights if it stayed that way, but that is just me.

You don't have to like Apple to use an iPhone. You don't have to like ED to enjoy DCS the way you want to, be it as a digital museum or something else.

Raven (Elysian Angel) replied to Northstar98's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
When ED decides to make a full-fidelity Su-27, let's hope they actually call it "Su-27" and not T-10-1"- 6 replies

Hey, Just got AH-64 for a trial and I liked it very much so far. Now there is that issue where first of all it takes ages to load the mission and then the stutter and spiking while running as low 30fps doesn't get rid of it. Only thing I noticed was that when I plugged the wireless controller on the usb it disappear and everything started to run smooth as any other module on any map so far.

oh yeah you got me on this one... ^^ but not even the other bug-thread is flagged as reported or similar... so its probably not harmful to bring some attention to it...

I've shared my avionics language and I keep it constant to reproduce that. The only thing I change is Special -> mig-29a -> Customized cockpit. When 'Customized cockpit' value is 'default(medium)' or 'default(low)' - I get this language discrepancy highlighted above. When 'Customized cockpit' value is 'default' - I don't get this language discrepancy. It is a minor issue - and I think it only affect those who need to play with native plane language and lower cockpit resolutions, like me - with pretty outdated PC. Thank you!

-
I was just thinking this today. I'd definitely love some mod patches and other DCS merch.

Yes this would be a good fix.
