Problem is 3 out of 4 Sparrows don't fall from rail to the ground in DCS like during Desert Storm. Either we get everything to factory spec or everything to how it behaved in the hands of military, but "everything for my friends, law for the rest" just doesn't work.

Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET
okopanja replied to quantum97's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Inner/outer switch reverse order of launches. You see it does not strictly select specific stations, but rather defines launch sequence, e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6 for inner. If you select outer you reverse. The theory is that if you omit hanging 3-6, you will actually get inner/outer switch to select either 1 or 2. This is a very specific case, and it might enable you to utilize R/T together. But this also needs to be checked... -

Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET
draconus replied to quantum97's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Yes, yes, yes. You can have R-27 on inner pylons and R-73 on outer pylons and you'll be able choose between them. -
Hello, The zoom function I linked to an axis doesn't respect the initial position when I release it. To return to the initial position, I have to press the center zoom button. This zoom works correctly using the zoom +, zoom - buttons. I've attached two tracks to compare what happens with another module; the zoom respects the return to the initial position (using the link on an axis). Sincerely, Michael Mig29-Zoom-test.trk F4-Zoom-test.trk

Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET

So, the (E)Rs and (E)Ts on the Mig-29A can only be carried at stations 1 and 2 anyway. So what role this switch plays regarding the inner and outer stations is beyond me. And we're not talking about mixing A2A and A2G weapons here. This is exclusively about two A2A missiles. It's possible in the FC3 version, isn't it? Or is it implemented incorrectly there? And is it correct in the FF version? -

With two-seaters the airflow over the nose is vastly different, and the centre of gravity is likely also to be different. Especially MiG-29UB is reported to be very tricky to fly.

Potentially you forgot to unlock them, i.e. moving out of the OFF into the IDLE position (by raising the fingerlifts)? Maybe you can share a track file or a quick video or also just a screenshot of the left console area? Alternatively, maybe you are looking in the WSO bind-category instead of Pilot. Or perhaps you have a double assignment somewhere else on the throttles. A check of the in-game Control Indicator could help here.

Well, yes and no. They could get away with doing an SH-3G or UH-3H as they were utility versions of the H-3 Sea King which wouldn't need the ASW fit. Now, While I would buy it, I think most would want the fully ASW missionized SH-3H. That being the case, I doubt ED would bother developing it. While I'm hoping for an AH-1F, It might be something like a UH-1N or CH-46E and that would also be good.

hmmm....i tried to reproduce the situation. it took two little lady-rockets, to take the engine down. That´s not much either btw... May be it was the direction i was slightly drifting - but after one rocket, i went down sometimes.

West and East German Assets?
Eisprinzessin replied to Eisprinzessin's topic in DCS: Cold War Germany
Yeah, there no DDR/GDR Assets. BTW: Brits have Wolf there but Bundeswehr not. Why that? -
Is there any usage of the NS430 except from waypoints out of the mission editor or manually adding, editing waypoints? How to use the VHF, ILS/VOR Receiver or even a Nav mode for all the shown waypoints using the HSI? cheers
-
"...to turn of lights"? You mean to turn "off", right? That typo might affect anyone searching topics. As well, shouldn't checking the box of an AI aircraft as "civil" in ME force it to run nav lights and beacon all the time? And strobes when flying? I'm running civil helos over Las Vegas at night and they go dark and pretty much invisible a short time after takeoff.

Some official clarification about the last patch if includes those fixes for air to ground accuracy or not would help. Bombs falling short are still an issue.

this has been reported, thank you for the clear demonstration and clear report

Mach limits for fuel tank, and ground weapons.
AeriaGloria replied to CrazyGman's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Okay have a list of limits here Bombs - Mach 0.8 KMGU - 900 kmh, 30-500m level release altitude Rockets - Mach 0.8, flight time above 900 kmh is limited by wether pod has heat protection or not interestingly, it also says that KMGU does not require the brake/retarded switch forward. -
I replied and asked you to check you have both versions of the NS430 enabled, it is usually the reason the device does not show. I have hidden some of your replies, I understand you must be frustrated but please do not break our forum rules. If you are still stuck feel free to PM me I will be happy to assist you if you are still having issues. thank you

On the danger of repeating myself, if the average performance is ok and you are just concerned with .1% performance (maybe perceived as micro stutter), try to improve CPU latency by getting rid of IRC hogs like the power service. Excessive mouse polling rates can also have bad influence on the issue. (If you are using a fance "gaming" mouse + Software. Other common culprits: RGB Software, Proprietary Apps from Razor, Logitech etc., Hardare Monitoring like HWinfo, Aquasuit....etc.... All the above stuff is pesting the CPU scheduler ALL the time with interrupt requests for updates and calls. Eventually the CPU has to divert cycles from important tasks like rendering to answer them..... If you have occasional perceivable hickups, that is most likely caused by asset loading or scripts in the mission. Very little to nothing can be done about that.
